Valerie's POV

The thought of staying a whole week with Christine's family still gives me goosebumps, I was awake half of the night speaking with Sonia, who either laughs at me or tries to encourage me that all will be fine. 

It wasn't a surprise to me when I woke up and realized that it was almost half past ten. I yawned lazily and sat up on my bed. To be frank, I ain't yet ready to face the day, it's Friday.

After a while, I decided to lie down back in the bed and perhaps get some sleep before Christine remembers that we have somewhere to head to. It was like magic because the exact time my head touched the pillow, I heard his voice.

"What the hell!" I exclaimed in a low tone.

"Valerie, are you still asleep?" He asked, but I didn't respond because I didn't feel the need to.
