Christine's POV

While staring at Valerie, who was looking at the spoon in her hands as though it were something apart from what it was. The anger in my heart seems to inflate. To be frank, her words are hurting, insulting and belittling.

As long as I can recall, no one has ever spoken to me in that manner, she crossed the line today. I heaved a sigh and walked out of the dining room, and she seemed not to have noticed that, but I care less about her.

I walked out of my house towards my car without speaking to anyone. Likewise, I got into my car and drove off and from my side mirror I noticed that my men were tailing behind me already, but I didn't need anyone to follow me tonight. Furthermore, I just want to be alone.

Additionally, I increased the acceleration of my car and I love its current speed. Sincerely, I regret ever meeting Valerie. How can she change to an unrecognizable person when she's angry?
