Elena shook her head but smiled nonetheless. She loved how spontaneous Damien could be sometimes and how he always managed to make even the most mundane things feel exciting.

"Let me help with the sandwich" Damien said interrupting her thoughts

"Ouuu what a delicious sandwich lily can have a bite out of this one if she catches me" Damien playfully teases lily

"Yayyyyy I'm coming papa, let me have it"

Elena watches them as they ran around the kitchen playing

She wondered how having a family could tame this cold mafia's heart.
