Dear Mrs. Dale Barber,
Remember that one summer when you were 13 that you and your family were vacationing in Europe?
I was miserable then with no one to talk to.
I always looked out of my bedroom window facing your room to see if you were back.
And then when you did come back, all you ever did was talk about that guy you met.
I saw how happy you were while I was so miserable.
I wanted to ask if you even missed me at all.
But my 15 year old self wouldn't let me.
Nagtampo ka pa sa akin kasi sabi mo hindi ako nakikinig sa mga kinukwento mo.
But I was!
Nakikinig naman ako.
But all the while I was strangling in my mind that guy you met.

"Sure ka hindi na kita ihahatid sa office mo?"
"Wag na malelate ka na sa office mo!" natatawang sabi nya sa lalaki.
"Like it matters! I'm the boss so I can be late if I want to! And besides nasa katapat na building lang naman ako!" sabay kindat nito kay Dale.
Hinalikan nya sa noo si Dale before letting go of her hand.
"Don't forget I'll pick you up for lunch!" pahabol nito kay Dale na papasok na sa building.
Tumango sa kanya si Dale bago tuluyang tumalikod.
Saka lang umalis ang lalaki nang tuluyang mawala sa paningin nya si Dale.
