After the reception Steph had received by Jakara, Steph was a little nervous facing Jessie. While her mom was her best support system, she was also her most honest source of advice. What if Jessie also saw her actions as those of cowardice? What if Jessie told her she was hurting Hong Gi more than helping him? She couldn't bear it on top of everything else that had happened.
