/ Urban / On The Day Of My 100th Blind Date, I Arrested My Date
Synopsis
# rapiddevelopment
Chen Yan’s 100th blind date went a little off tangent.
He arrested his blind date.
…
His blind date said, “Since we are on a blind date, let us be frank with each other.”
She continued, “Your salary is too low and your house is small. To be honest, if it wasn't for your good looks, our date would probably have ended here.”
Clearly, she was not very satisfied with Chen Yan’s condition.
She suggested, “Let’s do this. You put your house under my name and ask your family to get me another car worth half a million. Then, we can consider working this relationship out.”
Chen Yan was a little hesitant and shocked. This girl was even more direct and materialistic than he had imagined.
She said, “You don’t have to spend a cent to put your house under my name. As for the car…to be honest, that amount is only worth a month of my salary.”
She chided, “You are hesitant even when asked to do such simple things. You are such a miser.”
She concluded, “Humph. I have no other business with you. I shall take my leave now.”
Chen Yan’s blind date put on an arrogant expression. She had announced the final outcome of this blind date.
However, Chen Yan felt that it might be a little too rushed to end his 100th blind date just like that.
He said, “Missy, it is debatable whether I am a miser. However, you can’t leave now even if you want to.”
She retorted, “Why? As a police officer, do you plan on hounding me? Or do you want me to settle the bill? Ha! Waiter, bring me the bill!”
Chen Yan could spot the contempt from his date’s arrogant gaze.
Hounding her? Getting her to settle the bill?
“You don’t have to settle the bill,” said Chen Yan expressionlessly as he took out a pair of silver handcuffs.
He continued, “Please stand up and put your arms around your head. You are under arrest.”
…

Write a review~~As of Chapter Twenty~~ Been an enjoyable read. We have a down to earth Mc who spent his last life wanting to become a police officer buy due to physical health he could past the exam, later becoming a legendary private detective (in his own right) solving many crimes the before the police leading him to past catching up having home experience a retaliation death. Being transmigrated in a in a world similar as his own with everything thing the same, but with a difference here and there. He works as an intern police detective with his golden crime investigation system. The system so far is one of my favorite there no shop or anything like that the Mc runs into a crime and system may give him a mission to complete within a reasonable time frame based off his current capabilities if he succeeds, he rewarded and if he fails to solve it or solves it beyond the time limit he just do not receive any reward so basic no punishment he get what he earned. The reward itself are not op themselves, but can be if used right for example, he may get something like one of his six senses enhance or another skill related to be an officer. Plus his interaction with other characters are lively to me and does not just feel like he is talking to himself along with the decent way the author intertwines his work, social, and love life I honestly cannot wait for this to be released.
Reveal Spoilerat first glance it looks like a romance but its not rather its a bit of comedy and a bit of thriller along with the system... everyone should at least give it a read for first 20 chapters atleast.
not a romantic story but a investigation story.first we think it is a harrem but after reading 150 chapter there is only one girl until now.good read ps: author is a kind of racist .when it comes to crual mass murder cases most of villians comming from Japan, us, or some other countries .only good villians like revenge for raped daughter / gf is Chinese. you feel disgust while if you are from other countries especially us ,Japan , Taiwan etc
The xenophobia is strong in this one! it's still a pretty good read though..................................................................
for a second I thought that this novel was romantic 😂😂😂😂😂🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂
I give an average so I could write this, this sounds so so fun to read. ...................................................................................
I really hope this get picked up. ……………………………………………………………………………………..……………………………………………………………………………………..……………………………………………………………………………………..
Had been enjoying it a lot for the first 25 or something chapters.A wish fulfilment type investigation novel with no romance contrary to the title. Then came the Japanese hospital😑.. now dropping it at chapter 27. Gonna check again in the future, if selected, whether it is a one time thing or not.
minus one star for racism they again out japan into it within 30 chapters smh Chinese are stupid anyway the rest is okay i don't know how many times will they add racism in it but it's there so beaware otherwise it's good
DO NOT READ Its good until chapter 20 then starts RACISM They have some Japanese hospital who is killing and stealing peoples organs and MC starts to go on about Chinese and Japanese history
So here we have a fairly interesting story though it does have its problems. The main problem is the racism/China good guys everyone else is evil type of mindset. Having that for non-Chinese readers is generally a bad idea as it alienates them. The story itself is rather bland with the police backdrop for the story, though I found that the romance is actually rather fun. So we have a guy who has been sent on more than 100 blind dates by his mother in a relatively short time period. Not really much of a problem for us the readers, but it would certainly be exasperating living through such a situation. He arrests his most recent blind date while on the date which makes him very not excited for any more. Than his mother sends him on another one. He goes into it trying to cause the date to fail, seeing this very good looking girl who looks to be very wealthy he decides to act like a male gold digger. Weirdly she agrees. Her situation is much like his, but he tries to run away from the girl and she chases him down. They get into a fake boyfriend/girlfriend relationship. She introduces him to her parents and he makes a fabulous impression on them. The reverse is also true when he introduces her to his parents. This is a problem for them as they are nominally in a fake relationship.... I love this.
Reveal Spoilerdoes the author plan to continue this story? from what I've read so far it has a very interesting plot line. I'd be very interested to continue reading whatever the author puts out there for this story. so far it is very entertaining. LOL PLEASE continue this story. I'd be more than happy to support the continuation of this story if the author continues.
actually rating is 2 stars the plot is a fairly common one with all the generic troupes but compared to others i have read this one is a lot more xenophobia if not for some ok ok interactions between character one could say this written purely for the purpose of whitewashing most of crimes from Chin ese people to foreigners or Chin ese who came back to Ch ina from abroad

Translation quality: terrible. The translation quality up to chapter 40 is good, but after that it’s like a switch was flipped and now it’s closer to poorly edited MTL. At this point, the translation is so literal that it’s difficult to follow. 2/5 Updating stability: solid. Even though the updates are bad, at least they’re regular. That said, they immediately released 25 chapters into their privilege tier so it could obviously be better. 4/5 Story development: mixed. The cases are interesting, but outside of them the story is too bland. Everything goes right for the MC and he’s never challenged or in conflict with anything else. And while it doesn’t particularly bother me, the “China STRONK” nationalism is particularly fierce in this one. 3/5 Character design: lackluster. While the criminals are interesting and there’s some gray to the morality, the characters we spend the most time with are bland and uninteresting. The romance is the same: bland. It’s also rushed and the characters involved are too perfect. 2/5 World background: uninspired. Normally, I find the nationalism inherent in Chinese novels intriguing, because their take on foreign countries as filtered through the state media and Great Firewall gives a unique perspective on the author’s culture, but here it actually hurts them. The MC transmigrated to a world where nothing is different, except that China is as powerful there as the US is in reality. Other than that, there is no difference from the day-to-day that we already live with so the worldbuilding is something the author just skipped. 2/5 Overall: I’m dropping this at chapter 90-something because of the tl quality more than anything else. While the cases are indeed interesting, there’s just not enough there to justify straining to read the terrible translation.
Good Police Ruined By The Trash Mother Is Superior.... Dictating Mc With Useless Blind Dates Every Chapter It To Annoying And Trash .. Author Ruined A Good Novel ..What A Waste
His first activation is his nose? Really? How stupid this can be? 140 characters mmmmmmmmmmm mmmmmmmmmmm mmmmmmmmmmm mmmmmmmmmmm mmmmmmmmmmm mmmmmmmmmmm mmmmmmmmmmm mmmmmmmmmmm mmmmmmmmmmm mmmmmmmmmmm mmmmmmmmmmm mmmmmmmmmmm
This story started out well, but went downhill. The mysteries became easier to solve by chapter 36, and he is planning his entire life around a woman that he is in a fake relationship with. He gives up on appropriate promotions too where the cases could be more interesting. The MC is a major simp, and it also tends to ruin the story. Nationalism rears it's ugly head already as well. I've found that if nationalism is present in the trial read, it only gets worse from there. Overall, the author took the story in the wrong direction and ruined it.
Ugh. .
