Chapter 1: A new friend
The young girl just finished plucking flowers from the ground and had decided to look around the place. From where she stood on the hill, she saw a boy sitting in the shade, under the tree.
"Hey! Stranger!", the little girl shouted enough for him to hear. The boy turned and faced the bright girl. The girl smiled at him and approached him.
She stopped infront of him. She was looking down and he was looking up. "Hello! My name is Zhang MingMei but you can call me MeiMei", the girl smiled down at him.
The boy just kept staring at her face, specifically at her smile. Her smile was bright and beautiful, full of life.
MeiMei was confused as to why he kept staring at her. She waved a hand infront of the boy's face. "Hey....", she called softly.
The boy abruptly stood, resulting to both of the hitting their heads together. "Ouch", both exclaimed at the same time. They looked at each other and erupted in fits of laughter.
"My name is Li Wang Wei", he said smiling.
"Then I shall call you Wei and you call me MeiMei! From now on we are friends!", Mei Mei excitedly shouted.
The two kids enjoyed each other's company. They played and played until they were both tired.
What they didn't know was that the people from both of their households were scurrying to find them.
"Has anyone seen the Young Master?!"
"The Young Miss is not here! Hurry and find her!"
What a tiring day for both households.
