Chapter 9: The Arrival

Just wanted to make a quick little notice before this begins, just in advance as I have already said this in one of my other stories.

Like all authors, I do receive a number of complaints about things, most being some times trivial, and I completely respect that and you are completely free to see the way you want. However, I do ask that you all keep them to yourself as everyone has their own ways on things.

Though, if I do constantly hear them then I will just completely ignore them entirely. So, expect me to completely disregard your comment if that is the case and/or delete them. If the comment is to the extreme though, then I may report for abuse if that is the case. Though, I doubt I will as I am not the type to go to such an extent as I believe that everyone has their own opinion on things.

I want to make everyone that reads this book satisfied, I truly do, but that is just quite impossible. Everybody has different views, needs and wants, and so much more. I apologise if this book doesn't reach what you expect and want from it, and I apologise if my decisions don't satisfy you. Just leave if you can't take it. I'm still human, I'm vulnerable to making mistakes and questionable decisions as any other person.

Thankfully, I have really not received many complaints at all in this particular book, and I hope it will remain that way as much as it can.

Aside from all that, apologies for not having updated over the past few days. School has honestly been a complete nightmare with how busy it has made me, I am trying to get as much time as I can to update. Anyway, enjoy the chapter!

A couple of days had passed since they left as their journey was soon reaching its end, and if Hyuto was to guess, he would say that they were probably only two hours away now from the city that Heaven's Arena should be located at. The days were pretty standard and uneventful as if it just consisted of resting, walking, training and a few other basic things.

At the current time, the group were taking a quick hour break before taking the final walk into the city. Hyuto was observing as both Lux and Aya were doing their training, which was getting progressively more difficult for them as they had been increasing the gravity placed onto them over the past couple of days.

They had progressed at an incredible rate, though that was mostly thanks to the medicinal items that Hyuto had in his bag. Hyuto healed them of the strain that was on their muscles after each session of training, and it was thanks to him doing so that they were able to continue their training immediately after a few minutes of rest.

Over time, both of them had managed to reach to the point that they started training at four times gravity. While that didn't exactly sound like a lot, for regular humans, it was an incredible feat. A normal human would probably have their muscles broken at any more than 2.5 times gravity, which would have happened to them if Hyuto didn't help out.

They were technically carrying around four times their own weight at the moment, so the toll on them was definitely as immense as it sounded. It would be quite difficult for someone to carry around three other versions of themselves on their back and still do all the training, if you were a human at least.

'I should buy them those Muscle Advancement Pills.' Hyuto thought to himself as he watched as the two were currently doing simple push-up exercises. The pills he was talking about were pills that he saw were available to them in the shop out of the few items available to them, and their purpose was to strengthen the limitations of the muscles in the body.

A human can train to become incredibly strong, though there is always a limit to just how strong a person can become, unless they have some means of surpassing the normal human limitation. For Hyuto and others from his world, the blessings that they received from the gods allowed them to break through their limits as long as they trained to do so.

The pills were a decent bit expensive though, the regular ones costing around two hundred or so, and he wasn't even sure how great the effect was from the pills. Though, it wasn't like he had much of a choice unless he found some other method for them to surpass their human limitations. He hoped since the Omniverse was vast, there had to be something out there.

Maybe even in this world they were in right now.

He knew of magic being one, Warrod being a prime example of it. However, that was thrown straight out of the window as Warrod had told them that none of them, aside from Willa and Hyuto, possessed any ability to utilise magic. Hyuto being a unique case as divinity, which was given through the blessings, was an energy that was made up of all kinds of energy out there.

Magic, along with basic energy that allows you to walk and such, were both just very small parts of divinity. Though, not every person in his world could utilise the power to its full extent. Some were forced to utilise specific parts of it, example being that one person he knew had to utilise the life energy within divinity as their source of power.

"Hyuto." The boy in question turned his gaze to his right to see none other than Warrod walking over towards him. His staff in hand as he came and sat down beside Hyuto. "What are our plans once we arrive in the city? Anything that you want us to do in particular?"

"Well, the plan right now is to start fighting as soon as possible. We'll be able to make enough money to at least book a place for us to stay temporarily." Hyuto answered as he leaned back with his arms supporting himself. From what he remembered reading, they were able to get their own rooms once they reach the one-hundredth floor. "Also, you probably already know this. Don't use your magic, tell Willa the same."

"Yes, I know. We don't want to raise any suspicion if it is uncommon knowledge." Warrod nodded in understanding as he gave a small chuckle. "That is the reason you're also training both Lux and Aya like this after all. Lux can't use his swords and Aya doesn't really have any supernatural abilities. You did train her in a bit of close combat experience, correct?"

"Yeah... She's a fast learner." Hyuto nodded as he continued observing their training. Hyuto then stood up from the ground before stretching as he continued. "Anyway, they should both be capable of defeating any normal human with ease. I'm confident they both should be able to reach the two-hundredth floor with ease as long as nothing unexpected happens."

He didn't need to be concerned with Lux's battle experience, he could easily tell that the boy had combat experience as well as potential experience in some form of a war or something, if what he saw in the boy's seemingly innocent eyes was anything to go by. He had seen that look countless times before in the past, and he wasn't exactly proud of that.

It didn't take much longer before the group had finally began their walk through the final stretch towards their destination, which was over quickly as they were now entering into the city. Looking around, they noticed that the city had a similar architecture to the previous city, nothing too different in comparison.

However, there was one thing that really caught their attention.

It was the massive tower that was stationed near the centre of the city. Reaching high into the sky with its unique design, surrounded by a number of other smaller buildings. The city was bustling as there were countless other people walking around doing their business, it all looked quite interesting for them to explore.

However, that wasn't the priority right now.

"Alright, we need to line up to register for Heaven's Arena. We'll start fighting as soon as we get registered." Hyuto voiced as the group were now running calmly towards the massive tower in the distance. "Lux, and this goes for Warrod as well as Willa. Don't use any magic or weapons at all, we don't know what this world knows about such."

"Don't worry, we know." Warrod responded as they were nearing the tower. The closer that they got, the more that some of them began to marvel at the sight of the modern tall building. Just looking at it, it was obvious that it must take an incredible amount of time to build. "Incredible... this is Heaven's Arena."

"It really is amazing..." Lux agreed as he looked upwards as he ran. He tried to locate the top of the tower, but it was hard since there were a number of clouds that were blocking the view above. "How long will the line be, Hyuto?"

"We are quite early, so it probably won't be too massive. Though, tons more people might start coming in soon." Hyuto gestured upwards to show that there were a number of blimps that were flying above. Some who appeared to be starting to lower themselves down. "This place is famous for fighters if what I read was true. People from around the world come here to fight."

This place was a hotspot for fighters who wanted to make money as well as make quite the name for themselves. He wouldn't be surprised if the line would be more than doubled in the next five minutes if they didn't hurry. He didn't want to wait in a damn line for hours. He could easily force his way through, but he doubted the receptionist might end up banning them for doing so.

He didn't know if the quests had any conditions for failing it, so he needed to be careful. They could have major consequences if they failed.

"Oh man, at least it's not completely massive..." Lux frowned heavily as they arrived at the line up area. They saw a decently large line forming along the side of the building towards the entrance. The line probably having around eighty or so people lining up at this moment. "Guess we better get in the line before other people arrive..."

With that, the group quickly got to the end of the line.

"How long do you think it will take?" Aya wondered as she poked her head to the side to see the front, though it was to no avail as the building's round base prevented them from seeing the front. From what she could tell, they could definitely be waiting here for a good while.

"It does appear we'll be waiting for a while, doesn't it?" Warrod commented with a chuckle as Willa just nodded her head in agreement as she too tried to see the front of the line. Hyuto just patiently leaned against the wall as he had already attempted to see the front.

"Well, the line's already moving a bit. I would estimate probably like an hour wait if the pace is completely constant." Hyuto voiced as he crossed his arms over his chest. It wasn't nearly as bad as lines he had seen back home, some people would wait for hours upon hours, maybe even days, for something if they truly wanted it.

"Excuse me!"

"Hm?" Hyuto and the others heard a voice call out to them as they turned around to see two boys, probably two or so years younger than Hyuto and Aya, standing behind them. The boy that called out to them had spiky black hair with green highlights as the other had white hair and kept his hands in his pockets. "Can I help you?"

"We were wondering if this was the back of the line."

Hyuto noticed the white haired boy facepalm for some reason, and it seemed to be because of what the first boy had asked him. He didn't know why the white haired kid did that, but he didn't honestly really care at all.

"Yes, it is."

"Oh, okay. Thank you!" The boy smiled as he nodded in thanks. The boy then gestured towards the other boy as he said his next sentence. "Nice to meet you, my name is Gon Freecss! This here is Killua!"

"Yeah, hi." The one known as Killua voiced in a calm and bored tone. When Hyuto turned his gaze to look at Killua, the white haired boy seemed to visibly freeze and shake slightly as his gaze met Hyuto's gaze. Hyuto and the others noticed this, though Hyuto ignored it before giving the two a calm smile as he extended his hand forwards.

"Nice to meet you, my name's Hyuto Ryuzae."
