Synopsis

I circled him slowly, tracing my fingertips along his back, ribs, and stomach. His hair stood and I saw other clear signs of arousal, but I knew I could do better. I wanted him to beg - for what, I didn't yet know. He would tell me, and I would use it against him.

"Scarlet," he whispered, voice heavy with need.

I kissed his cheek.

My purpose was to serve the Ivory Kingdom. Be their sacrificial princess; enter the Other world; seduce our enemy, Rowan the Crimson King. I did all of these things. Now he would take me to the Crimson Gates and unwittingly break the banishment curse on my kingdom. My kingdom would invade his overnight. But he wasn't the monster I was told he would be. He was precious, playful, and all things good. I didn't want to betray him, but I didn't know what else to do.

The king's a SUB More like a switch Anyway I like that there's a reason he likes her and not just "hey you're the main character your secrets make you sexy." A+ relationship building

Fantastic book!! The imagery was written so eloquently and the plot had me reeling the whole time!! 10/10 would recommend. I also realized that the chapter titles make a poem!! Ingenious!!!

This is a really creative story involving kingdoms with mystery and secretes and I can't wait to get to the more spicy stuff mentioned in the synopsis. This is really fun so far!

INCREDIBLE!!! I absolutely love love love the worldbuilding, and that at first, Scarlet has to marry someone else who isn't the love interest to help her family. I am ENTHRALLED by the creativity with this story, and I simply have to read more. I even love the details, like when she drinks the poison, she doesn't perish like some cutesy disney character, but really does die 'unpretty' and that horrifies everyone, not the fact she died. this is amazing. you're such a skilled author.

I read this book in one sitting by mistake. It is a well written book that has a lot to say about love, trauma, communication, and healing that is set in the backdrop of an interesting dreamlike world with that is developing into a much more varied and interesting landscape than the blasted white sands of the Land of Night would let on at first blush.

Great story!!! I love the style of writing and all of the descriptions of the characters. It really builds an image of what they look like in your head.

Diana Regolizio will be one of my best writers on this app! The writing is excellent, the adventure is very entertaining and the aesthetic is like poem that is on steroids!

I didn’t mean to be listed as my own top fan, but here we are. I was in bed (5ft off the floor) (pic for reference) and woke up at 2am from what was intended to be a nap at 6pm. Too awake to go back to sleep, but not with enough energy to *really* wake up and even climb down from bed, I bought my own book and started reading it. MY REVIEW OF MY OWN BOOK: It’s a fun adventure with comforting outcomes. Its tone is similar to Princess Bride and most of it takes place in an odd world with odd characters comparable to Wonderland. We get to spend time in the different phases of these characters falling in love, starting with a “ridiculous” crush, building to trust and appreciation, then self-sabotage, then acceptance, communication and fruition. The king is indeed a switch. This story was a lot of fun to write and I want to share it with as many likeminded readers as possible. If this reaches you and you feel the same, help by leaving a review of your own! Happy reading, Diana
