Chapter 95: Thoughtless actions

That night, I snuck out. 

I know, I know. It wasn't preferable to act whilst harboring bad feelings. But I thought this was the only way to let out my frustrations for the captain. A way to enact vengeance on him without directing enacting vengeance on him. Yeah, I could be really petty. But I don't care, I had made up my mind that I would be getting answers long before I promised to him not to be reckless again.

So what if I was reckless. So what if I was prone to "thoughtless actions", as Eury said. These days, I no longer gave even a semblance of a care. I was away from home, without a crown on my head, and being bothered by creatures of this forest. I was going to embrace the worse that was to come with open arms. 

In front of me was the back door of the headquarters, and as I opened it, I patted the dagger in the inner pocket of my coat reassuringly. I'd borrowed it from Rylena's bedroom, and I planned to return it as soon as I was done with it.
