Of Hex and Pen

Ivan is a novelist working for the Eddis Publishing House, writing for a living while enjoying his life at home. But after the death of his wife, the woman he's known and loved his whole life, Ivan breaks as a person. After being effectively catatonic for the better part of 5 years, he completely misses an event that beings fantasy beings and magic to Earth. Now out of his stupor, Ivan moves across the country at the behest of his Publisher while trying to get accustomed to the new world he lives in, one with magic and without his wife.
