What is a sword?
Is it merely a weapon? An extension of the warrior's will? A tool for killing?
The sword is the spirit, the warrior is the blade. The sword is the warrior, the warrior is the sword. It is not the object, it is the will.
A sword is a body, a vessel. The warrior pours his spirit into that vessel.
If the warrior doesn't, then he does not know his sword; his sword does not know him.
