Synopsis
Dyne Valiant is a frustrated gamer.
But as one of the best special ops agents that the world has, his superiors and the government itself ensured that he won’t be able to play video games because of his addictive tendencies. And so he lived and fought without ever being able to play beyond the nostalgic PS-One games.
Fate was cruel as he finally meets his end after exacting revenge on those who killed his family. But on his dying moments, another dying man with strange magical powers appears.
But unlike Dyne, justice was not served for this man. He then offers Dyne a chance to satisfy the greatest regret of his life… To play the videogames he loved back when he was a kid. Using the enigmatic god-tiered artifact, the Imaginarium Bond, Dyne is revived and sent to the world of cultivators where he must reach for the peak and challenge the gods of that world.
And while the path of Immortality and a second life was a great gift, Dyne's joy was elsewhere.
Within the Imaginarium Bond were three worlds that the mysterious man created with the last of his powers. These worlds were based on three PS-One classic games and are designed to help Dyne in his Path of Cultivation.
Soon, Dyne will reach the Cultivation world and fight the wicked Kings, Saints, Devils, and Gods that now control it.
Soon, Dyne will awaken the Genesis Trees of Legaia.
Soon he will conquer the many nations with his Rune Knights in the continent of Forsena.
Soon he will be reborn as an Endless to battle gods and dragons and slay the founding Emperor of the Fou Empire.
Dyne has deprived of gaming all his life. But now his life depends on his gaming. Witness the tales of Dyne Valiant in his adventure as a Nostalgic Gamer in a Cultivation World.

Self-centered review from the author. Just kidding. Nostalgic Gamer is the polar opposite og New Game+. In New Game+, I imagined a dystopian future that rose after the WW3 with each nations having their own techs and circumstances with an alien threat manipulating the world. Nostalgic Gamer however, uses existing worlds as a reference. So this honestly more "fun" to write as it is easy to write and at the same time allows me to dive into the nostalgia itself. The most awesome thing is how the world building progresses and includes ways to make the game worlds and more something fun and relatable. "Do I need to have played the games to enjoy it?" Not necessarily. The story can carry on and exist by itself and should have something for everyone. Of course, if you have played and enjoyed the games featured, you might love the lore of this story all the more.
Nice Story so far and the Additions for the First World are actually quite good und don't feel forced at all. Really feeling Nostalgic reading this Story. Being not the MC of the World is nothing new but this feels somewhat better than other Story's that I personally read, really like the Weak-Strong concept that you employ. Really Hope that this story will contiune on. ^_^

boring , i read almost 10 chapters , i thought this will be because it has more than 200 chapters . it took so many words just to start the story . i was patient , but when it starts it becomes boring. [img=sad]

too much games inserted... too much color added will not produce rainbow color, but it will produce a black color instead... I love legend of legaia and all other games, but the reason I love legaia is because it's legaia... not a mix of all other games... it's fine if it just two or three games added, but now it's too much... and the progress is too slow for the past 200ish chapter...
I played Legaia and I'm replaying it again because of this. It's amazing how the world makes sense and how the story plays around with the elements of the game. I''m curious how it will be in Brigandine.

Love the story its one of if not the best I have read its well thought out and fun to read not to mention it hits that nostalgia feeling so well I am looking forward to what happens next keep up the fantastic work.
Author likes legend of legaia and has good taste for games that's reasonable enough for me to give him five stars . Plus it's very fun to read great character development and good grammar.

Love it. Has a slow start but it was still fun and cool. Love the changes in the gamr and the nostalgia it brings. There is also a lot to look forward to.
No problems so far. Light adventure novel based on certain video game worlds with some rules for cultivation. The author weaves both traits of cultivation and gaming well. I've played Legend of Legaia and I'm very happy with the treatment in this story. It adds a lot of new while explaining the old.
