Even after hearing Ming Yue quoting her wound as an action to repay her kindness, Wan Yi Jun couldn't completely accept her answer as he felt that it was so unfair to choose death over life.
"The place where I lived, it was a custom to be indebted to people who show kindness towards to you... especially when you are at your worst." Ming spoke in a mellow voice that silently sunk into the darkness spread over the bedroom.
"But why would you hurt yourself to pay your debt to someone else. I'm sorry, but it feels somewhat barbaric to me." Wan Yi Jun said his mind without sugar-coating his words. Though he was a descendant of a mighty warrior clan who happens to follow such kinds of practices, since he grew up abroad, he never tried to acknowledge any of the customs that were part of the Wan clan or the wisteria gardens.
