Jimmy Simmons didn't know if Arnold Simmons truly had feelings for Hannah, but taking her away from Arnold, was definitely a powerful strike and revenge against him.
The thought was, admittedly, boring.
Jimmy moved his lips, finding himself unable to refute what Hannah had said, and simply chose to openly admit, "You're right, I want you."
His gaze upon her was like that of a hunter eyeing his certain prey, arrogant and self-assured.
It was 9:40 PM.
Below a cascade of steps, a low-key black luxury car stopped.
A moment later, the car door opened.
Hannah waved at Arnold, looking obviously delighted as she lifted her foot to step past the person in front of her.
Jimmy reached out and grabbed her arm, lowering his voice to say in her ear, "He didn't die on the road this time, next time he might not be so lucky."
His words carried hatred and malice, yet his face bore a reckless smile.
