"Hello, old friend. It has been a long time," Nathaniel greeted Barnaby.
"Yes, I dare say you forgot about me. I thought you dead old man."
"No. Although, sometimes it felt that way," Nathaniel laughed.
"So, what do I owe this pleasantry?" Barnaby asked.
"I am in quite a predicament. When last we spoke, I told you about the reincarnations. I told you about the girl who is in the last cycle. I had her. She was willing to be with me, but she is torn between two worlds. She is pregnant. I know you and Veronica have been together for a long time. I wondered if this may be a solution to my problem of losing her."
"I can not say that this would be a good option for one who is torn between being with you and having a normal life, Nathaniel. If she wants this, then she may well leave you. Have you spoken to her about this?"
