"Well, that's normal. Makayla has a boyfriend. He's human so I'm not sure how that's going to work out."

"You were human when you got with Tim. I was human when I got with Nicholas."

"Yeah, but it was different. Tim was turned into a werewolf and he loved me when that happened. So, he just chose me as his one and only. You on the other hand were chosen for Nicholas. Makayla likes this boy but she doesn't feel that spark for him. Every wolf I've ever talked to said they felt a powerful connection to their mate the minute they met them."

"Has Michael met his mate yet?"

"Not that I'm aware of. He hasn't said anything to us if he has."

"Do you remember when the twins were born and you guys came to visit?"

"Yeah. The twins were so little and Makayla instantly nicknamed Laura as Lala. It's been what she calls her ever since," Dominique smiled.

"Do you remember what happened with Michael?" Melissa asked.
