"Who made you cry?" he repeated as his eyes darkened, small flecks of gold shining within before disappearing and she swallowed because she couldn't exactly tell him that she was crying because of Nikolay who was his enemy.

"No one did. My hair got into my eyes," she muttered before her eyes went to the room she left Nikolay in. "We should go back to the hall now." She plastered a smile on her face as she stared up at him and he nodded after a couple of seconds before they headed back to the hall.
