Nikolay got to his feet, not wanting to hear more about whatever confusing things were happening in the witch community. He had only come here to find out two things: how the witches died and how they were coming back. He thought he would be able to use the answers to deal with Evaine's Wigan witch if she decided to come for him but the only thing he got from their answers was that the regents of the different covens had been doing something serious with the book of the damned.

The same book that was currently in his house. A regent might have come back from the dead and there was a high chance they were currently trying to find the book so he had to go see if it was still here.
