"Really?" Lucas asked, raising a brow, and she placed her hand on his bicep as she nodded. "Okay then," he muttered as he dropped the jeans back in the laundry basket, hoping she was right.

Imani then began to wonder when the fairy had taken it. Was it when they were asleep? When they were in the shower? ...When they were having sex? She cleared her throat and glanced around. "Karl's sleeping in here with you?"

"Yes," he replied as he lifted his eyes to hers. "You want to sleep here?"

She shook her head sideways. "I'll sleep in my room. Don't want to disturb you guys." Besides Nikolay would be showing up tomorrow and if she was still asleep when he showed up, he really wouldn't like finding her in Lucas' bed.

"You wouldn't be disturbing us. I'm sure Karl would love it if you slept here..." he trailed off as he wrapped his arms around her, pulling her closer to himself. "I also want you to sleep here."
