Chapter 123: Moving Forward

Nikolay and Takeda were going to kill Aryna. Nikolay, because she had helped Aksel kidnap Imani, and Takeda, because she had snapped his neck to be able to leave the house. Nikolay had told Takeda to keep her in the house till he got back and she knew nothing good was going to happen to her if Imani had been hurt badly or worse... dead. Even if Imani was fine – which Aryna hoped was the case – Nikolay would still punish her and she was willing to accept the punishment as long as it wasn't something too horrible because she had nowhere else to go.
