Nikolay came to a stop at the top of the stairs when he saw Takeda pacing in the foyer and he tilted his head to the side because he didn't expect him to still be here. He had told him to go to Norbarrow after they got back here yesterday to find Arthur, Aryna and Adele waiting for them. He had also told those three to leave before he retired to his room for the rest of the day and he thought he would be the only one in the house this morning.

Takeda stopped moving when he saw Nikolay and his shoulders sagged as he headed towards the stairs while Nikolay jogged down it. "Why are you still here?" Nikolay asked when he got off the stairs just as Takeda said, "What are you going to do about Evaine and the rogue vampires?"
