Lucas got down from the car before he rushed around it to open the door for Imani and stretched his hand out to her. She grabbed the grimoire, pocket watch and her phone from the centre table and grabbed his hand, letting him help her out of the car. She noticed Takeda staring at her with furrowed brows when Lucas kept his hand on her waist and pulled her close to him after shutting the car's door.

Takeda's eyes went to the hand on her waist and back to her face, furrowing his brows even more as he faced Lola and started leading her towards the front door of the house. She frowned because this was basically the first time they were seeing each other and that was the first look he chose to give her before realizing that Nikolay probably told him about her and he was wondering why Lucas was putting his hand on her waist and pulling her close to him.
