Chapter 191: Hellhounds (1)

The creature which looked like a huge dog landed on its feet next to Imani while another one jumped out of the other hole, landing next to Desmond before they growled at Immith whose features became clouded with fear. Her mouth opened and she struggled to get words out as she took rapid steps backwards. She looked genuinely terrified.

Imani and Desmond also looked terrified but theirs was even more seeing as the creatures were right next to them, and it seemed like they were trying not to breathe. Imani slowly pulled Desmond closer to her, more than willing to protect him if the creatures decided to attack them, and Nikolay turned his head to where Imani was when the hybrid he was about to swing at took rapid steps backward while looking at something over his shoulders.
