Chapter 42: Exposure

Lucas now knew how the three werewolves from Maryland contracted the virus. Ella told him they had come over to Wolfborn four days ago despite warnings that wolves from other states should steer clear of the town. The reason for which they came here was because one of them was in a relationship with a married woman and they had no idea she was infected with the virus. Lucas didn't care about who was cheating on who, he just didn't want the virus to spread to other werewolf towns. At least now he felt relieved to know that they got the virus from Wolfborn and not from anywhere else.

Ella also told him one of the werewolves that attended the Barnes Academy of Science of Technology got expelled from the school because he got into a fight with another student. Apparently, the other student was the one who started the fight but he wasn't expelled because he was human. The entire situation was nonsensical but there was nothing Lucas could do about it.
