Chapter 82: Coming Clean (1)

"Are you really not going to say anything?" Lola said when she walked into the kitchen and Imani just stared at her.

The hands of the sweater she was wearing were too long, covering her fingers, and she had to pull back the one of her right hand so she could pick up the fork in her plate. "About what?" she asked as she kept a fork of pasta in her mouth, even though she knew what her friend was talking about.

After Lola had interrupted she and Lucas and ran off, she had become so mortified she could have died on the spot but then Lucas shrugged and returned his lips to hers, making her forget everything else.

She folded her arms across her chest and shot her a look. "Uh, maybe why tall, Alpha and handsome came back from where he went to and went straight to you to shove his tongue down your throat."
