The other Alphas weren't leaving Wolfborn and they had decided that they were going to stay in the houses on the outskirt of town because they wanted to be where the process of finding a vaccine and a cure started. To Lucas, that was total bullshit.

According to Aida, they had gotten scientists to start working on a vaccine and a cure in some countries and that statement had really irritated Lucas because they hadn't wanted to help him when the virus started spreading here but now that it was in other countries, it had become an emergency. He didn't even know why Jean was here because the virus wasn't even in France.

"You're not going to escort us there?" Aida asked after she, Genevra and Jean had gotten into the vehicles that brought them here and Lucas didn't move from where he was standing. He had told Vinay to go back to where he had been before he brought the Alphas to his house so the beta was no longer there with them.
