Chapter 5: Chapter 5: DECISION
Did help came? Oh, it would be a shame,
If help did not come, how is my heart to tame?
I read the post, and my heart dropped like a bombshell,
The nearest living person, is 5 houses away, oh well.
The only way to reach him, or for he to reach me,
Is the roof tops, but be careful! It's slippery!
But among us, who would go and rescue?
Was it me? Should you go, if I were you?
I kneeled, and prayed than never before,
Until l felt my knees, grow kinda sore,
If I were to go, please help me overcome my fears,
I'm still not ready to die, I still want to see everyone I hold dear.
I grabbed my things, and had my feet barefoot,
Heights are my weakness, if I look down, well shoot!
I never knew much about survival, so I can only plead for luck,
For if I fall, well, life does kinda suck.
I opened the window, OH and Lord I hear them growl!
Never have l imagined myself doing this,
Never had, no! Not at all!
I gripped tightly on the pane, and slowly move towards the top,
Oh dear fingers don't let go, or else I'll be a feast when I do drop..!
