Chapter 41: Chapter 41: MOVING OUT

The child's body rather than fed below,

Was carried by the lady, as she vanished after glow,

Ascending through the skies, I wish I could be there,

Since hardships in this life, I swear I could hardly even bare.

Night time came and we ate the few scraps,

But the smell of blood, made it hard for us to take a nap,

My eyes felt groopy, and my body strained,

Eleazar looked at me, knowing my pain.

"Tomorrow, we move out," He said plainly,

We all felt rather shocked,

"To where, should we?"

Eleazar looked at Robert, who seems rather worried,

We are all decreasing in number,

This journey might lack glory.

"You will die in this place,

There's no food or water to taste,

Tomorrow we venture, to somewhere far,

I hope you're all ready, Ken, Robert, Stacy, Isabelle and Mar,"

He stood up, wings emerging from his back,

He glowed beautifully, lighting up the dark,

"If I were beautiful, glowing and such,

Would you be more trusting? Or is it too much?"

I felt sorry all of a sudden,

After all Eleazar did, we still doubt him at times,

I heard Isabelle sighed,

As Robert bowed and apologized.

"We're very sorry, we're just somehow scared,"

Robert said, though the angel was well aware,

"Do not be afraid, so long as you believe, you will survive,

Even without me, if you have faith, to heaven, you'll arrive,"

I couldn't quite hear their murmurs that time,

But they were somehow discussing of how we'll survive,

"Should we travel at night? The sun won't be blazing, and the monsters may divide,"

Mar said raising her hand,

And it seems the Eleazar liked her plan.

I smiled at her, "..she was really something,"

Something that would thrive in the wild,

Something great and amazing.

It must have been nervousness, that made us stay up all night,

It was frustrating, our eyes were beginning to dry,

Something hard to swallow, something heavy in our chest,

Couldn't quite word it, but it's fear nonetheless.

When the next dark bites, I felt frozen speechless,

Everything felt cold, as if there's chiming death bells,

The angel led us, while we are praying loudly,

"Save us all, please God, have some mercy..."
