Chapter 12: We meet again

Hasyn has conquered all there was to conquer in the Transformers Universe. There was nothing left for him to do here after defeating both Cybertron, who was Primus itself and Unicron the antithesis of Primus. Now, he was about to return to his reality, the Warhammer 40k. Although calling it that right now, would be wrong, it is canonical.

All of Cybertron has been transformed to suit Hasyn's needs and the needs of his people, the Necrons. After he used his limitless nanomachines inside his body and absorbed the essence of Unicron, he gained a lot of new knowledge and some mildly impressive technology. He may or may not use it, but we shall see.

Hasyn was in the process of encasing the space surrounding his 'World Engine'. In order to separate it when he travels back. Chaos has already been born, at least his calculations indicate that and he doesn't want to spread their influence more than necessary. He will make sure they are starved to death and will make sure of it personally in time.

[Space surrounding Anrepheph has been locked. Ready for transference.]

"Initiate passage through reality-continuum. Fortify everything."

Everything started at the same time. A shimmering barrier appeared to those who were powerful enough or had the right technology and surrounded all of Anrepheph. Reality was locked around it and didn't allow anything to pass it, not even energy or a concept. Hasyn has passed a threshold in terms of technology that many if not most races could only hope to grasp. A swirling green portal appeared as large as Anrepheph itself in space. After a moment, the portal showed the space of the 40k reality.

Using the inertialess drives, Hasyn created, the World Engine Anrepheph started to move. The speed at which the massive planet could move was actually faster than light, thanks to the inertialess drive. For now, this fine piece of technology was a must-have for a race that couldn't traverse through the Immaterium.

The entire World Engine was pushed through the giant portal into a different reality. Hasyn observed everything from his seat and thought of his next step. He saw that it was possible to travel to different universes and realities, so he could spread his influence and his Necron Empire further and further. The Galaxy was first, then the Universe and then ... other realities would come after. As billions of lines of code go through his mind, Anrepheph arrives at his original reality and settles next to planet Amohtep, the Crownworld of my Prakasri Dynasty.

Given Anrepheph's size, it would be a problem for the other planets in the solar system, but technology handles all of this easily. Compared to Borsis, the World Engine of the Neokhares Dynasty, Anrepheph was much larger and equipped with weapons capable of wiping out life on a galactic if not universal scale. That was not an exaggeration at all. The Necrons had very deadly weaponry, especially to fight the C'tan they had to pull up their A-game. But it was nothing compared to what Hasyn turned Anrepheph into.

Anrepheph was going to be the protection against foreign enemies who would surely arrive in the future. Be it the Imperium of Man, the Aeldari Empire or the Tyranids, they would all meet Anrepheph personally and die. Hasyn connected to the Tomb Worlds of the Prakasri Dynasty and started to rearrange them to maximum efficiency and protection. He would leave them this way for many millions of years and he wanted them to be ready when he returned.

That's right, Hasyn was leaving the Prakasri Dynasty and the Necron Empire for a time and would go on a long trip to experiment and gain more information about the Universe outside of the galaxy he was in. It would be necessary for him to do that, as he wanted to be ready for the future and with everything going on, he would make the most of it.

After everything was ready, Hasyn went ahead and walked through the Tomb World. He approached the Doom Scythes first. With his new power over the Creation Matrix, he could turn anything into a Transformer. Doing so would not only enhance his Dynasty but turn it into the strongest one without a doubt. Cybertronians could think for themselves and make decisions and while Hasyn wanted them to follow his commands, it would still be a huge advantage, if the vehicles suddenly turned into large bipedal machines which could attack and help the war effort actively. Anything could be turned into a Cybertronian and with Hasyn's changes to the Creation Matrix, it was a simple matter of transforming the technology into a Transformer under his command.

Hasyn touched the first Doom Scythe and channelled the power of the Creation Matrix, which he had fused into himself. A moment later, the Doom Scythe began to transform and turn into a bipedal Necrotronian. That was the name Hasyn came up with.

"Wha-what is ... going on? What ... am I?"

The Necrotronian was confused and stumbled as he was unfamiliar with his new ability to walk. After a second, he adapted though and looked around until his gaze landed on Hasyn. He didn't know who he was, but looking at him the Necrotronian suddenly knelt on the ground.

"Activate Protocol Alpha-2497 Code name: Necrotronian."

Tremendous amounts of information flooded the newly established mind of the Necrotronian Doom Scythe and he understood his situation perfectly. His history from mere metal and other material into functional technology, up to the moment he became a Doom Scythe and then transformed into a Necrotronian under Hasyn.

"I greet my Lord, Hasyn the Relentless. Undefeated Phaeron of the Prakasri Dynasty and Ruler of the Necron Empire. I wish to express my deepest gratitude for giving me life."

"Your appreciations have been noted. Tell me how you ... feel, if you can comprehend this request."

"I can, Lord Hasyn. As far as I understand it, I am capable of genuinely feeling ... things. Whether or not these are true emotions is currently unclear. Further research is needed. I hold no connection to the Immaterium and can't feel anything of note. I have something which the living may consider ... a soul though."

"Peculiar. Does having a soul make you alive ... I am uncertain. My scanners confirm that you are in possession of an energy signature which is similar to those of living creatures in this reality. Probability for inaccuracy ... lower than 0.00272%. You are, before not stated otherwise, classified as alive."

"I understand, my Lord. What are your orders?"

"You are to move to the Tesseract Vault which I modified and await further inspection. Any energy classified as 'souls' may connect with the Immaterium and be targeted by powers within, proving to be anomalous. Anomalies will not be tolerated."

"I understand my Lord."

Without further ado, the Necrotonian Doom Scythe moved towards the Tesseract Vaults to imprison himself and prepare for further inspection. Should he truly have a soul in the traditional sense, he would either be experimented on to see how it interacts with the Immaterium, or destroyed outright to remove any chance for the Immaterium to possess him. Hasyn, like many of his Necron brethren, despised what the Immaterium had become.

.

On the modified Cairn Class Tomb Ship, Hasyn is sitting on his command throne and looking out at the empty void in front of him. Massive numbers of calculations are going through his processors at the same time. The sheer quantity of parallel thoughts happening all at once would put a celestial being to shame. There was no limit to how many parallel thoughts Hasyn could have, he had long ago improved himself to be able to do this. It was what allowed him to be the best Necron Warmaster to ever exist and to outmanoeuvre all of his enemies and 'brethren' to do his wishes.

It was this feature, among some others which brought him to this moment in time. This exact moment had been calculated and roughly predicted by Hasyn.

That's right. Hasyn, the Necron, the machine without a soul, without access to the Imamterium and who wasn't a psyker, had foreseen this moment that was about to take place, by sheer calculating prowess. He used everything at his disposal to his benefit and to the maximum efficiency to arrive here. His achievements, his plans, his words and research ... all of it accumulated in this moment.

When he first appeared in this retched galaxy and was forced to go through the biotransference, he only knew pain and the Necron equivalent of anger. He had gotten most of his vengeance already against the C'tan, the Old Ones, the Aeldari out of spite somewhat and even Szarekh. But there was one more who was yet to fall and who he had saved until now.

There was no real anger left in Hasyn, he was far too much a machine and dead at this point to bother with something as useless as the destructive emotion. It was a matter of personal principle. It was not over until the last of them was destroyed, enslaved or absorbed and used for his wishes. One final C'tan was out there and that was where he was going right now.

According to Aeldari legend, during the War in Heaven, the Outsider and the Aeldari trickster god Cegorach engaged in a duel. As the Outsider, accompanied by four lesser C'tans devoured the stars, Cegorach appeared before the Outsider as a challenge. Casting an illusion of itself upon the lesser the C'tan, the Outsider proceeded to mistakenly devour its brethren one by one. Screaming with rage and defeat, the Outsider clutched its head, spasming until it folded upon itself and grew dim.

Another retelling of this tale states that when the Laughing God deceived the Outsider into devouring its brothers because it thirsted for ascendency. However, the devoured fragments twisted like shards of glass within the Outsider eventually driving it insane.

However, the truth of the matter was different. It was neither Cegorach also known as the "Laughing God," the "Great Harlequin," the "Great Fool" or the "First Fool," the Aeldari god of creativity, artists, deception and trickery who tricked the Outsider nor was it the insane hunger of the C'tan themselves, that spiked the end of the War in Heaven.

It was none other than Hasyn himself, who was responsible for the start of the end of the war.

.

Hasyn's Cairn Class Tomb Ship shot through the void of space towards a specific energy signature. The target had been locked ever since the end of the War in Heaven had started. From the Halo Stars, all the way across the galaxy, the Cairn Class Tomb Ship, the largest and most powerful class of Necron warships, shot inertialess towards the void between this galaxy and the next.

Hasyn observed the galaxy around him, the stars coming to an end and the void between the next galaxy appearing. He could feel the end of his travels appearing and a large green visual of the one he was looking for appeared in front of him.

"We meet again ... Tsara'noga."

The writhing, inverted geometries of the Outsider curl and tighten around its latest harvest as they clamber and crawl like vermin around his illogical labyrinth. As the voice of Hasyn somehow travels through the void of space and reaches the mind of the C'tan known as the Outsider, the creature stops moving for a second and turns towards the Cairn Class Tomb Ship.

A bubble of energy appears and surrounds the two beings inside it, allowing them to converse normally. Hasyn walks out of the Tomb Ship and on top. His hands are behind his back and his Nightmare Shroud which he had long ago combined with a Veil of Darkness moved behind him gently despite no wind existing in the void.

"HaaSYn?! WhaT... whAt ArE YoU DoINg HeRE?! WE MuSt... dEsTroY!!! nOOO!! I hAVe ThE AUTHorIty hErE!!! yOu aRe WEAk!! I SHOUlD hAvE beEn thE RuLeR HErE!! NOnSENSE! broTHErS!!"

Hasyn observed as the different personalities of C'tan, which the Outsider consumed, argued among one another and seemed to tear the body apart. If he could feel emotions and was capable physically, he might have smiled at this moment.

"I am content to see you this way, Tsara'noga. Content in the most emotionless way possible and for the first time I am somewhat displeased by the fact, that I can't show emotions and enjoy this moment more. The moment of seeing my plans come to fruition."

Finally, we find out what Hasyn did to arrive at this moment. I want to show just how ridiculous his processing power is right now. With pure calculation, he foresaw the moves he had to make to arrive at this moment. I will try to showcase just how ridiculous this is next chapter and I hope you can appreciate the more subtle OPness.
