Chapter 18: Weapons Delivery

Yao Ran walked to the kitchen and heard Grandpa Xu's voice on the phone, "Yes. Grandpa can send your Elder Brother Ruihan to take you to see the goods."

Xu Ruihan is one of Grandpa Xu's grandsons, the heir of the Xu Group, and the person Grandpa Xu wants to introduce to her. Knowing Grandpa Xu's hidden intention, Yao Ran felt a little uncomfortable, but weapons were her top priority.

She thought for a while and said, "Then I will trouble Grandpa Xu to inform Young Master Xu."

Yao Ran saw the message and accepted the friend invitation. The next second, Xu Ruihan send her the address.

She ate a simple breakfast and took a taxi to the meeting point. Seeing that it was a restaurant, Yao Ran felt that she was not going there to get weapons but to go on a blind date.

Just looking at the atmosphere and location of this restaurant, Yao Ran knew that only wealthy people could dine there. She walked to the restaurant, and two waiters opened the double glass doors for her.

A waiter came over and asked, "Miss, do you have a reservation?"

Yao Ran nodded, "I'm here to meet Young Master Xu."

The waiter smiled and made an inviting gesture, "Miss, please come this way."

The waiter guided the way, and the two came to a private room. The waiter opened the door for her and said, "Young Master Xu is already waiting for you inside."

Yao Ran thanked him and walked in. The man sitting inside saw her, stood up, and said, "Please have a seat, Miss Yao."

Yao Ran nodded to him and sat down. She said, "Young Master Xu, nice to meet you."

Xu Ruihan sat down and poured tea for her. He served tea and said, "Grandpa has been talking about you lately. It seems like he really likes you."

Yao Ran just smiled and said nothing. Looking at Xu Ruihan's handsome but cold and expressionless face, Yao Ran knew that this man was very dangerous. It's best not to offend this future underground boss.

The two drank tea in silence for a while, and then Yao Ran said, "Young Master Xu, I won't waste your time. Let's get down to business."

Xu Ruihan refilled their empty cup, and then Yao Ran said, "I want to check the goods."

"All right."

After leaving the restaurant, Yao Ran got into Xu Ruihan's car. Neither of them spoke during the whole trip.

Two hours later, Xu Ruihan parked the car. Yao Ran came down, took a look at the remote place, and then followed Xu Ruihan. Seeing their arrival, the men in black uniforms greeted Xu Ruihan.

"Boss, the goods are ready." The man in charge said.

Xu Ruihan gestured to the man with his chin to open the heavy metal door of the warehouse and walked in with Yao Ran. When Yao Ran saw two military helicopters, two tanks, three armored off-road military vehicles, three luxury RVs, and two military trucks, she was so shocked that her eyes widened.

She just mentioned it to Grandpa Xu and didn't have much hope of getting these vehicles, but Grandpa Xu actually prepared more than she asked for.

Seeing her standing there in shock, Xu Ruihan explained, "Grandpa said these things are your early birthday gifts. All vehicles have been modified and improved."

"See if you are satisfied with them. If you think they need to be changed, just let me know. I will change and modify them for you. Free of charge."

Hearing his words, Yao Ran looked at him and thought, 'Who dares to tell you that they are not satisfied? If they dare to express their dissatisfaction, won't you blow their heads off?'

Xu Ruihan did not know what was inside Yao Ran's mind as she looked at him. He walked over and opened one of the metal boxes.

"As for weapons, I had prepared everything for you. From handguns, sniper rifles, shotguns, and heavy submachine guns, you can just pick your favorite. You can take a look at them first. If you have anything you want to add, feel free to tell me. I will definitely satisfy your request."

When he introduced the weapons and military vehicles to Yao Ran, she checked the guns, explosives, and bullets in the metal boxes.

Thirty minutes later, Yao Ran asked, "How much do I owe you?"
