Chapter 39: Midnight Attack

One of them was so frightened that he fell to the ground when he saw that four of their men were dead. Before he could see who is their enemy, Yao Ran shot him in the head without expression.

After dealing with that man, Yao Ran looked up and saw Brother Ma and the others bumping into someone. Before they could see who was blocking their way, they felt something cold brushed against their necks.

"Ugh!"

The next second, blood spurted out from their necks, and they fell to the ground. Yao Ran lowered the nail gun and approached the man who helped her. 

She glanced at Brother Ma and others for a second and then looked at Long Yu, "Thank you."

"Mhm."

Long Yu looked back at the metal doors installed on the stairs and said, "They broke the lock."

Yao Ran followed his gaze and found that the lock on the two metal doors was indeed broken. She thought for a moment and said, "I have some extra locks. Can you help change the locks?"

"Mhm."
