Chapter 8: Before the holy grail war 3 (Final)
I've been running for about a few minutes now, I'm basically running near the speed of sound about exactly 600 mph, I could brake the sound barrier like a certain blue hedgehog but that would cause too much noise and will probably attract unwanted attention which I don't want so no Sonic boom today, get it Sonic boom like the video game, man that game sucked ass now moving on to where I was going and looks like I just arrived.
So I slowed down my pace quite significantly and came to a stop at a large Grassy Field, "Is this really the place were the battle of Camlann took place we're Artoria killed Mordred with Rhongomyniad and the exact same place when her entire kingdom fell and when the world offered a deal to her to participate in the holy grail war to save her kingdom form destruction and became the first living servant in the Fate Franchise", I said to myself, then began to walk toward the hill in the middle of the grassy field.
When I was walking to the hill, I began to think to myself, 'Man I can feel and sense the mystery and death of this place even after a millennium and a half since the Battle of Camlann took place In the Sixth century, if Artoria knew how her kingdom was going to turn out she probably would do what Alexander and Gilgamesh did with their kingdoms to some degree at the very least'.
'It wasn't entirely her fault that her kingdom turned out the way it did, the damn dick wizard had a good role in that and I'm not entirely saying it was his fault but he did have good part In it like for example putting an insanely stupid idea of the ideal king into Artoria's mind since she was just a child, an ideal where the king is perfect in every way without making mistakes or bad decisions and doing what's always right and the good for the people of the kingdom, which is a load of shit because nothing is perfect in this world and making mistakes and learning from them is what makes us human in the end'.
'Another factor of what he did was making Artoria give up her humanity to become the ideal king because the ideal king is to act completely like a robot to not let the king's emotions get the better of him and is completely selfless for the goodwill of the people which doesn't make sense because how can you understand humans if you give up your emotions, which is a bunch of bullshit because Merlin admitted himself that he did not comprehend and understand, humanity itself even though he was half human himself'.
I need to stop thinking about that and get on with the summoning so I continued to walk to the hill that I'm heading towards to and before I knew it I was standing at the top of my destination.
"Well let's summon her and be done with it", I said to myself, the next thing I did was summoning Avalon out of my body, what it's very convenient what did you expect for me to put it, In a case and carry it on my person that would be too much of a hassle, anyways after summoning it, I took a good look at it again and no matter how many times hold it before me it's always breathtakingly beautiful.
Avalon is a completely broken conceptual weapon to the point that it is on the level of true magic and a actual true magic itself that it transcends all magecraft, and not even the Five Magics can overcome the Barrier that protects the user when wearing it.
But sadly only the owner of Avalon can use it to its upmost capacity, You can still use it somewhat if you have it when Artoria is around so it can absorb her magical energy to activate, but the benefits are severely downgraded, Don't get me wrong It can still save your life in a pinch like in fate/zero when
Kirei Kotomine basically pulled a Saitama on
Kiritsugu Emiya and one shotted him by destroying his heart and basically killing him, but Avalon restored his heart, and bought him back into the fight, It was also used to save Shirou's life from the Fuyuki fire at the end of fate/zero when Kiritsugu had Artoria destroy the Lesser grail.
It would later on kept Shirou from going brain dead because the damage that was done to his nervous system by using his nerves instead of his magic circuits, and the reason why is because his adopted father taught him the wrong way on purpose so that he would quit magecraft because of the pain that would cause to him, but what Kiritsugu didn't know was that Shirou is one stubborn motherfucker to the point of becoming a hero of Justice at all costs, then later on when Artoria was summoned in the Fifth Holy Grail War Avalon also saved his ass when Hercules gutted him in both the Fate route and the Heaven Feel route.
And later down the line Avalon changed Shirou's Elemental affinity and origin to sword That would help him create his tracing and his Reality marble.
Now moving on l already made the circle for the summoning, and put Avalon down in the middle of it, but before I get started I unhooked the Birdcage that's hooked on my Belt that holds Add and put it at least 50 yards away from the Summoning circle then I Said to myself, " I don't want to accidentally summon the Lancer version of Artoria or Gray because there's a servant version of her out there, which doesn't make any sense to me at all but I guess that's what it is Thanks to grand order for making that happen".
Really though the likelihood that Add Hijacks the summon circle is to a bare minimum, because Lancer Artoria and Gray can't be summoned in a normal holy grail war to begin with but I'm not taking any chances, I don't want this to screw up and blow up in my face that I summoned a copy of a alternate version of Artoria or somebody else that isn't her.
I need to stop thinking about that and get on with the Summoning, so I began chatting and pouring my Magical energy into the Summoning circle.
I'm just going to skip the chanting details entirely, and get straight to the summoning so as I finished the chant something unexpected happened at the end, instead of taking my magical energy the circle took my demonic power instead but before I could do anything, there was a bright flash of light so I shielded my eyes and when the light dimmed down, there was a figure standing in the middle of the summoning circle.
When I got a better look at the figure, it was a girl about 15 to 16 years old with a height around 5 feet but would really took me back was the fact that the person standing right in front of me, looked a little different from the Artoria I was expecting.
What was supposed to be Her hair that was a golden wheat color had become pale and lost its color Including her skin that almost looked like white as snow, She also was wearing a black dress that revealed her upper back and the chest area looking like a bikini top giving you you a good view of her cleavage, she was holding a sword that looked like Excalibur but it was black with Crimson red markings all over it, and it gave off a demonic and holy aura.
And when she opened her eyes which was supposed to be a emerald green, was a Yellowish gold Color, I just stood their in shock I don't know what to say, but the girl in front of me spoke up and she said, " I've come in response to your summon, and I've ask you of the are you my master?".
The only thing I can say was, " what the fuck".
