Chapter 25: Hokage Sends Troops, Chiba Returns To The Village
After scolding the three of them, Sarutobi Hiruzen's face turned red with anger, and his neck bulged with rage.
Receiving the Hokage's scolding, Homura and Koharu calmed down.
The two of them regained their composure, but Danzo had no outlet for his anger.
It was clear that the two of them had surrounded and beaten him, yet Sarutobi Hiruzen actually claimed that the three of them had a big fight. Had Danzo attacked them? He had been the one being beaten all along.
However, the other three seemed to have completely forgotten about Danzo's anger. Danzo remained silent, watching the scene unfold.

"Sensei! Homura-sama!" the three exclaimed in unison.
"I have an important task for you," Sarutobi Hiruzen said, looking at his proud disciples with a serious tone.
"Sensei, please tell us," Orochimaru responded on behalf of the three.
"You will set off immediately to supply station No. 1. If it has been destroyed, you will proceed to inspect supply stations No. 2 and No. 3. And after inspecting these
three locations, you will search for Rosa within our territory," Sarutobi Hiruzen explained the mission.
"Rosa?" Orochimaru, Jiraiya, and Tsunade glanced at each other, suddenly taken aback.
"The Sand Shinobi who claims to manipulate gold dust?"
"A disciple of the Third Kazekage?"
Since the Third Kazekage dared to send his disciples to the Land of Fire, Sarutobi Hiruzen decided to send his own to capture them. He wanted to see if his disciples were stronger than theirs.
Sarutobi Hiruzen chuckled to himself, seemingly forgetting that he had sent out three disciples while the Third Kazekage had only sent one.
Just as the three were about to leave, Mitokado Homura spoke up.
"If you come across Fujiki's body at supply station No. 1, bring him back."
After speaking, Homura tossed out a sealing scroll.
"A sealing scroll?" Orochimaru remarked as he caught the scroll.

The ox cart slowly made its way toward Konoha Village.
Originally, the supplies on the cart were meant to be transported to the supply station, but now they had to be brought back to the village.
"What's wrong with this cow?" Fujiki asked, feeling puzzled by the ox's behavior.
The old ox would occasionally stop and walk, grazing on the grass by the roadside, showing no signs of diligence.
"Don't make a fuss. It's just getting used to it," Chiba replied, leaning against the cargo.
Fujiki hurriedly responded, "Senior, you're awake."
"Obviously, how could I talk if I weren't awake?" Chiba rolled his eyes at Fujiki and adjusted his body, preparing to take a nap.
With nothing else to do on the road, passing the time by sleeping was the only option.
