As the cold mechanical voice of the system rang out, Tobirama's eyes narrowed slightly. While the surge of Wood Release wasn't as dramatic as the rush of strength or chakra, a subtle power began to awaken within him, coursing through his entire bpdy.
He could sense it distinctly—the essence of Wood Release flowing through his veins, a legacy of his elder brother Hashirama.
With a focused thought, a small sapling sprouted from his palm.
"This... this is!"
"The legendary Wood Release! Hokage-sama, have you awakened the same power as Hashirama-sama?!" The lingering onlookers couldn't contain their curiosity and bombarded Tobirama with questions.
"Yes, this is indeed the Wood Release, just like my brother Hashirama. I have awakened it now," Tobirama explained calmly.
"Tobirama-sama, Konoha is blessed by this remarkable development!"
"With you wielding the power of Wood Release, Hokage-sama, we are destined for greatness!"
Amidst the praise, Tobirama's smile widened.
With a decisive tone, he issued orders:
"Kakashi, Shikaku, gather the ANBU and apprehend any remnants of Danzo's roots. Eliminate them if necessary!"
Shikaku and Kakashi nodded in agreement before departing to carry out their orders.
"The rest of you, prepare for tomorrow's Hokage succession ceremony. Security must be tight."
"Yes, Hokage-sama!"
With Tobirama's newfound Wood Release enhancing his reputation, his commands were swiftly executed with enthusiasm.
Yet, within Uzumaki Naruto's consciousness, the Nine-Tails stirred uneasily.
"Something feels off... What's that foul stench?"

The following day, the atmosphere in Konoha was charged with anticipation and curiosity.
"Did you hear? Danzo got taken out by the Second Hokage!"
"Yeah, about time. Always had a bad feeling about that guy hiding behind bandages all the time."
"Totally! Tobirama-sama did us all a favor getting rid of him."
With the completion of the investigation into Danzo's misdeeds by the Konoha Torture Department, Tobirama ordered the disclosure of some of the findings. Learning of Danzo's treachery only deepened the villagers' admiration for Tobirama.
In contrast, Hiruzen Sarutobi's legacy seemed to fade. While he had preached the Will of Fire throughout his tenure, his later decisions and concessions left many disillusioned.
"Look, here comes the Hokage!"
A cry rang out, drawing everyone's attention to the grand platform.
Tobirama, adorned in the Hokage's regalia, commanded attention despite the scars on his face. His presence elicited admiration, with some women even swooning at the sight.
"Hokage-sama, you're so Handsome!"
"I'd marry Tobirama-sama in a heartbeat!"
The crowd erupted in cheers, but Tobirama's raised hand silenced them instantly.
"I am Senju Tobirama, returning as the Second Hokage of Konoha!"
"I vow to restore Konoha to its former glory!" With a brief yet powerful speech
"Long live Hokage-sama!" The chant echoed through the village, drowning out any dissenting voices.
Meanwhile, amidst the excitement, an unexpected grumble emerged:
"Damn it, The Hokage was supposed to be me, Uzumaki Naruto! why did that old pervert give his positon to that old man?!" In the midst of celebration, the complaint sounded out of place.
