Chapter 3: My shitty life as NARUTO

Land of Fire, Konoha Hidden Village

As 12-year-old Naruto walked in streets with a determined yet bitter expression.

"Look, it's that kid," whispered someone nearby.

"Yeah, it's him again. Why don't they just lock him up in prison?"

"Shh, don't let him and anbu hear you."

Though the voices were low, their words were like sharp needles, piercing Naruto's heart.

Naruto remained silent, ignoring the harsh looks thrown his way, as he headed toward the fruit store.

"Hey, boss, can I get some oranges?" Naruto asked with a forced smile.

"We're out," the shopkeeper replied coldly.

Naruto glanced at the pile of oranges in the shop but didn't say anything. He simply turned around and left.

As he walked away, Naruto noticed two figures on the rooftop—Anbu, the village's secret police, tasked with watching him.

"Heh,Now They're not even trying to hide anymore," Naruto muttered to himself with a smirk no one could see.

In his previous life, being reborn sounded like a great deal, but Transmigrated as Naruto—a lonely, unwanted boy—was far from what he had imagined. No family, no friends, only cold stares, rejection, and constant surveillance. Even getting enough food was a struggle.

Naruto tried to change things. He used his old drawing skills to create comics, hoping to earn some money and make life a bit better. But when he tried to sell them, the Anbu stopped him. They tore his work apart and kept an even closer watch on him after that.

That day, Naruto realized the harsh reality of his new life. He decided to keep a low profile, following the path the original Naruto was supposed to take. He didn't ask why he hadn't inherited the Fourth Hokage's legacy or why he was taught to use chakra so late. He didn't question why the Anbu always shadowed him. Asking too much could land him in serious trouble, maybe even in a prison cell.

After all, he wasn't the original Naruto anymore. He was a different person, living in Naruto's body.

"Guess I'll try the next fruit shop. I really want some oranges," Naruto said, looking up at the sun. His smirk turned into a fake smile as he continued walking, still under the watchful eyes of the villagers and the Anbu.

Naruto's footsteps echoed as he made his way to another store, only to be met with the same cold rejection.

"It's just oranges... why won't they let me have any?" Naruto sighed. He hadn't eaten oranges in a long time and really craved them, but it seemed impossible.

"Forget it. I'll head to the river. Maybe I'll get lucky and find something for lunch."

As Naruto turned to leave, a small figure caught his eye. It was a little girl with the Hyuga family crest on her clothes. She had dark hair, a petite frame, and a blush on her cute face. Her large, white eyes were like polished jade, drawing Naruto's attention.

Naruto's smile became more genuine when he saw her. She was the only person in the village who deserved his real smile, the one person who had changed his life in this world. It was Hinata Hyuga, his only friend.

Naruto had known Hinata since they were very young, and over time, they had become close friends. Even though Hinata was incredibly shy, she was always kind to Naruto.

As Naruto approached her, he noticed a strange, blue, floating orb around her. It had the word "Experience" written on it.

"Hinata, fancy meeting you here," Naruto greeted her, focusing on the orb.

"O-oh, hi Naruto-kun," Hinata replied in her sweet voice, her head bowed shyly, avoiding eye contact.

Seeing her like this warmed Naruto's heart, but the mysterious blue orb intrigued him even more.

Suddenly, a black line of text appeared: [Experience +1], and the blue orb trembled slightly.

"Huh?" Naruto thought, looking around. No one else seemed to notice the orb. Could it be that only he could see it? He decided to investigate further by chatting with Hinata.

While Naruto talked and Hinata mostly listened quietly, Naruto observed the orb. It seemed that every time he interacted with Hinata, the orb gave him experience points. He realized this must be his special ability—his "golden finger."

Excited by this discovery, Naruto continued to chat with Hinata, making sure to keep an eye on the Anbu in the distance.

[Experience +1] appeared again, confirming Naruto's theory. He was gaining experience just by talking to Hinata. But he didn't want to stay too long and risk attracting attention, so he smiled at her.

"Hinata, have you eaten yet? Why don't we have lunch together?" Naruto invited her.

"H-huh? I… um…" Hinata stammered, overwhelmed by the idea of spending more time with Naruto. She even forgot about the small gift she wanted to give him.

[Experience +1] flashed again, and Naruto's smile grew.

"Come on, Hinata chan, let's go to the river. I will catch fish for yaa," Naruto said kindly.

"O-ookay… sure nn Naruto-kun" Hinata replied, still red flustered face, as she followed Naruto.

As they walked, Naruto kept an eye on the blue orb, watching it shrink bit by bit. He realized that interacting with Hinata was the key to gaining experience. What this experience would do, though, he still had to find out.

[Experience +1]
