Obito concentrated and was able to sense Satsuki hiding it the trees to his right, four chakra signatures heading towards him, Probably Hana and the ninken she just summoned.' However he couldn't sense Naruto which interested him, he was the top jounin in Konoha after all.
It was then that four large twisters charged at him, they were reckless and quite easy for him to dodge.
"You know you could've done much better than a frontal assault."
Hana growled and charged at him once more.
In the trees not to far away were Satsuki and Naruto watching the fight in the clearing.
"Don't you think we should help her if this test is about teamwork?" Satsuki asked.
"Yes we should but we shouldn't just charge in recklessly like Hana did. She was always one to rush into things before thinking. I need to see what our sensei can really do in order to make a plan that won't end in failure. It's obvious that Hana isn't going to make him show us anything with her predictable movements, so I want you to go down there and help her out. If it's two on one with your level of skill he should show a bit more of what he can do. After I've seen enough I'll get you two out of there."
Satsuki nodded at Naruto's plan and jumped forward into the clearing.
"Gatsuga"
Hana repeatedly used her most powerful technique along with her ninken partners, and spun at a high speed and formed into what looked like four large drills that were meant to deliver many beast like attacks when it hit their target. However at the moment it was useless because she couldn't even touch her sensei. He was just moving to fast.
However, that didn't last long as Obito sidestepped her attack and grabbed her arm stopping her assault. Her ninkens also stopped, worried about their partner. Obito was about to plant his fist in Hana's gut when Satsuki shot out from the forest and engaged him in a bout of taijutsu. Her sudden appearance caused him to drop Hana, after which she jumped back to regroup with her ninkens.
Satsuki charged at him starting off with a punch to the chest which he easily sidestepped, then a knee to the gut which he bocked, followed by a high kick. Obito ducked under the kick and swept her legs out from under her causing her to hit the ground. He was about to go for the finishing blow with a fist to her stomach, but as soon as he made contact, she shattered into splinters of wood.
'Oh? To be able to use the Kawarimi so efficiently already is pretty impressive. However, I need to see what you can really do.'
Obito had already sensed where Satsuki had Kawakimied to.
He turned around and saw her there, panting, right next to Hana.
Their sensei was eyeing the girls curiously, wondering what they would do.
Satsuki started going through hand seals and ended on tiger, she inhaled a deep breath and molded the chakra in her lungs and exhaled a large fireball, "Katon: Goukyaku no Jutsu!" The large ball of fire rushed at tearing apart the ground beneath it.
The scarred man decided to counter with his own version of the technique, he put a single hand in the tiger hand seal and exhaled the massive ball of fire chakra, "Katon: Goukyaku no Jutsu." The two fireballs met in the middle of the clearing, where Obito's quickly overwhelmed Satsuki's and continued to rush towards her.
'Shit! I put too much power into that jutsu! If that fireball hits it'll incinerate the both of them!' Obito was panicking as the jutsu was moving to fast for either of the girls to dodge.
However, it seemed luck was on the elder Uchiha's side as the fire started glowing yellow before it converged into a smaller form. Once the bright light faded it revealed the form of Portgas D. Naruto.
Though everyone in the clearing was happy he appeared everyone had one thought running through their minds. 'What the hell did he just do?'
There was silence for a minute before Obito charged at him. 'Whatever he did it doesn't matter. Naruto is finally here which gives me the perfect opportunity to test him.'
Naruto wasn't fazed in the least bit at his sensei's actions, nor was he worried.
Obito noticed that Naruto didn't even move a muscle, so he figured that he couldn't keep up with the mid-level chunin speed he was moving in. Obito rushed him and dropped down to kick him in the chest, but to his surprise, he fazed right through Naruto. The area he just passed through was being regenerated by flames.
Before Obito could recover from his shock, Naruto took deep breathe and molded fire chakra in his lungs. "Katon: Haijingakure no Jutsu (Fire Release: Hiding in the Ash and Dust)." A thick blanket of ash and fire exploded from Naruto's position completely burning anything it touched.
Obito had managed a last minute Kawarimi, only receiving a few second degree burns. However he was speechless at what he saw when his eyes caught the clearing. The area was completyly scorched and the ground was covered in ash. He had only just made it out of the radius of the jutsu. Many of the trees had been completely incinerated. Though what he noticed was that his students were no longer in the clearing.
'To use a jutsu that powerful just for smokescreen...that kid's really something. How'd he get his hands on that jutsu though? It was one of Uchiha Madara's personal jutsu...Oh well I better move to a different location, don't want to inhale any of that ash. It'd be the some as smoking as much as Asuma does in a day.'
