Naruto was wearing a pair of black combat boots, a black glove on his right hand to cover his burns, knee-length black cargo short, an orange eyelet-studded belt, a perfect replica of Ace's hat that he had custom ordered from shinobi store, and a pale yellow button up shirt that he wore open that his the large tattoo on his back, which he had gotten a few years back after his confrontation with the Uzumaki-Namikaze family. It was a mark that Ace wore with pride for his father, and now Naruto wore it with pride stating that Ace was his only father. After living his life and respecting him for so long, Naruto started to look up to Ace as a father figure of sorts. This was also his way of denouncing his parentage, his final attachment to his birth family.
He was broken from his thoughts when Narumi walked back into the room with a new Konoha hitai-ate tied around her forehead.
Iruka walked in after her, "Naruto it's your turn for the practical exam!" people had learned quickly not to call him by his surname. It didn't end well for anyone who did.
Naruto slowly started walking down the stairs. He was about walk past Narumi when she spoke up, "Good luck Nii-san."
Naruto only stared at her for a minute before nodding. It made her happy that he didn't just completely blow her off. The ravenette didn't really care whether she had a change in personality or not, he was completely apathetic to the whole family.
He headed into the room where Iruka and Mizuki sat behind a desk to judge his performance. There was only one hitai-ate left on the desk, he was the last one to go.
Iruka decided to start the exam, "Alright Naruto you're the last one, you may start with any of the three academy jutsus you like."
Naruto nodded and formed a single hand sign. A second later there was a puff of smoke and the young raven haired one eyed young man was replaced with a perfect copy of Iruka. He released the Henge a moment later.
"Good a perfect Henge, how let's move onto the Kawarimi."
Without even making a hand seal this time he switched places with a chair in the corner, he did the Kawarimi again a moment later to return the chair to its previous location."
"Excellent and now the Bunshin."
Naruto hated the Bunshin. To him it was a completely useless jutsu that someone would never use once they were out of the academy. However this would be the last time he would ever do it so he held in his distaste for the justsu and formed a hand seal.
A moment later three perfect illusionary copies of himself popped into existence.
Iruka smiled as Naruto released the jutsu a moment later, "Okay good Naruto. Here is your Konoha hitai-ate. Where it with pride and make the village proud."
The hitai-ate was had the symbol of Konohagakure in the middle of it with a black cloth to tie around the forehead. It didn't really fit his tastes so he made a note to get a custom one later on.

Hana decided to speak before Mizuki and Iruka came back, "Looks like you passed congratulations!"
Naruto smirked at his childhood friend, "Was there really any doubt? I learned those jutsus over three years ago."
Hana puffed her cheeks out and pouted, "I know that, but you barely came to the academy half of the time. If you weren't so smart you would have been the dobe instead of that idiot brother of mine."
"So who do you want to have on your team?" Satsuki decided to interrupt their banter, knowing that it could go on forever.
Hana had a thoughtful look on her face, "Besides you two I think I could work with anyone, minus Nawaki and the fangirls."
There were three people that were constantly a pain in the ass for everyone to deal with. The first was Nawaki, he had grown even more egotistical and arrogant over the years. Nobody knew where it came from, he really wasn't that good. Sure he was the rookie of the year but the only other real option for that spot was Shino, who just didn't want to be at the top. Nawaki hadn't really changed much besides that. His sisters constantly tried to get him to eat better and not always go to Ichiraku's but he wouldn't listen. He had eating habits similar to Choji's and a body to match. Minato would probably make his children minus Naruto a team though, because Kushina wanted to come out of retirement and become a sensei.
