In short, these family farces highlight an important issue:

Yuya now has a team formidable enough to be taken seriously.

While cutting off the Sarutobi clan's water, electricity, and food may seem like a clumsy method, it was undeniably effective.

Similar to how these families operate—after reviewing their internal situations—they realize it's impossible to sever ties with Yuya completely.

Take electricity, for instance. Even though it's primarily used for lighting, it has revolutionized life. People can now read at night or enjoy shopping and entertainment after sunset. Losing access to electricity would mean returning to an old lifestyle of sleeping at sunset or relying on expensive candles that provide little light. Those accustomed to electric lights cannot revert to the past.

Moreover, Yuya's business blueprint extends across various industries. Even small-time grain merchants in Konoha depend on it. In the past, Konoha's officials controlled grain sales, but now, Yuya has constructed granaries to stabilize prices. During good harvests, surplus grain is stored, and during shortages, it's sold to keep prices stable. Remarkably, food prices in Konoha have remained unchanged for 17 years—a feat no one else could achieve.

This has frustrated family grain merchants who used to hoard grain during surplus periods and sell it at exorbitant prices during shortages. Yuya's approach rendered such practices obsolete. Although these merchants dislike him, they are fortunate that Yuya spends most of his time building factories rather than dominating every market in Konoha.

Yet, the dilemma remains: most ninja families with businesses in Konoha rely on factories for goods. Without access to raw materials—largely controlled by Yuya—they can't function. Facing these realities, the families realize that direct confrontation with Yuya would be futile and that cooperation is the only viable option.

The old Hyuga clan leader's strategy, while underhanded, has proven effective. Yuya can't retaliate just because someone proposed introducing him to potential marriage partners—it's seen as a goodwill gesture. In most people's eyes, it's a positive thing, not a hostile act.

However, Yuya despises being used. He seeks genuine relationships, not alliances born out of family obligations. He resolves to ignore the issue, knowing Nara Shikaya and Uchiha Kagami won't press him further.

The farce temporarily subsides when year-end battle reports arrive. The prolonged winter conflict has concluded, with Shimura Danzo's surprise attack securing victory. Though Yuya is glad Senju Tobirama is safe, he remains indifferent to the other casualties.

But this victory emboldens the Shimura clan.

At the year-end summary, a Shimura ninja delivers an arrogant message:

"Greetings, Acting Secretary Yuya. The Shimura patriarch is busy hosting a celebration for Princess Shimura's third birthday and cannot attend the review. Please understand."

The ninja's lack of decorum angers Nara Shikaya, who turns to Yuya: "Agent, aren't you furious?"

Yuya responds calmly, "Why should I be? You're from the Nara clan."

Shikaya sighs, admitting, "Technically, I'm no longer part of the clan. I live on West Third Street now."

Yuya smirks knowingly, commenting on the Nara clan's opportunism:

"They've distanced themselves from you, hoping to align with rising powers like the Shimura clan. But if the Shimura clan fails, they'll gladly reinstate you as head of the Nara family. Clever, but misdirected."

Shikaya, visibly frustrated, vows: "I'll do everything in my power to assist you from now on."

Yuya smiles, skeptical but amused: "Great! Start by drafting a greeting note to the Shimura family."

Shikaya, baffled, exclaims: "Are you admitting defeat?!"

Yuya chuckles, "Not at all. I genuinely wish their little princess a happy birthday. Oh, and mention that I'll be sending her a pair of shoes. Golden shoes."

Shikaya's confusion turns to alarm: "Shoes? Golden shoes?"

Yuya's grin widens: "Yes, golden shoes. And in my size."
