Chapter 10: Shock

Naruto : Hai sensei. (Everyone, eat your hearts out. Hehe)

Iruka : Okay then everyone is present.

Even though they had their doubts that this can't be Naruto, it was when Iruka confirmed that it was Naruto, their doubts were crushed. Everyone was shocked with their mouths open and their eyes are bulging from their sockets. No one can believe that the handsome kid is the goofy idiot Naruto, who always shouts his lungs out, doing all kinds of pranks.

Kiba : Na..na..naruto? you are Naruto? [Points at him in disbelief with his mouth wide open]

Naruto : Close your mouth Kiba, or you're gonna eat Shino's bugs.

Kiba then realized that his mouth was open and then closed it. Feeling someone giving him the death stare, Kiba turned to his side only to face Shino, who is staring right into his soul through his eyes. Involuntarily Kiba gulped. Seeing this some girls were giggling and all others were still in their shocked condition. At that time Naruto sensed something or someone that felt familiar, but at the same time it was not familiar. He then realized that it was the Hokage using his 'Telescope technique' to watch how everyone responds to his changes. Seeing how the situation unfold Iruka again caught the class attention with his 'Big head no jutsu'.

After that he started the class with a little history lesson. Again everyone was shocked, this time even Iruka was also shocked to hear Naruto answer to a question correctly. The class was once again shocked to learn that there was an Uzumaki clan, which is very close to Konoha, and also about their destruction. The emo kid listening to the class was first sad knowing that a clan like his was wiped off, and then he was angry that it took 3 great nations the kill the clan with heavy losses at their side, but his clan was killed by a single person. Everyone in the class was thinking about the same thing that, is Naruto really part of a clan.

The class was over and Iruka left the classroom. And everyone was going for lunch. Naruto made some lunch in his special shop. Class was nearly empty, he then went towards Hinata and sat near her.

Naruto : Hey Hinata can we eat together, I need to talk to you.

Hinata : [She nodded her head while blushing] (Na..na.. Naruto kun w-wants to ta-talk)

Naruto sat near her and both of them took their bento and started to eat.

Naruto : Hinata I won't beat around the bush, I'll ask you directly, I need your... help. I need someone to help me with the studies for some time. So, will you help me.

At the beginning of their conversation Hinata was listening to him with undivided attention, but when Naruto nearly stopped where he asked for help, all Hinata clearly heard was 'I need you'. After hearing that her face was beat red, her mind stopped working, she was staring at him, where her mind went out of the world. Seeing Hinata's dazed expression Naruto sighed and shook her awake. Hinata, after coming to the world of the living, seeing Naruto's face near her was about to pass out, but then Naruto flicked her forehead.

Naruto : You were about to pass out were you.

Hinata : (Now Naruto kun will think I'm weird)

Naruto : Am I that boring to talk to? [ With a sad face totally acting]

Hinata : N-No N-Na..ruto kun , i-it's just th-that I'm s-shy.

Naruto : Okay then, will you help me with my studies.

Hinata : Hai. [While blushing] (Alone time with Naruto kun)

After lunch every one went to the academy training grounds. In training ground Iruka and Mizuki are waiting for their physical training. Students started to run around the ground, and after they finish their laps, they did some push ups, pull ups for stretching their body. Next was taijutsu training, everyone was gathered around sparring circle. There were several sparring matches, it was pretty boring, Shikamaru like always said it was a drag and won, Hinata used her Gentle fist, Kiba used his speed, like that they all finished the matches. Then came the match of Naruto and a civilian kid, looking back at his memory, he was one of the kids who tried to beat him up. Entering into the circled the boy smirked.

Mizuku : Seal of reconciliation.

Both Naruto and the civilian kid did the seal. He could see the mockery in his eyes. Seeing that Naruto gave a small smile, thinking that the loosing streak of Naruto in academy is coming to an end. The civilian kid is the strongest among the civilian kids, so Mizuki was internally smirking.

The match then started, the boy went into the academy taijutsu style but Naruto was just standing there. Seeing it as an easy win the boy rushed towards Naruto with a punch to his face, but Naruto sidestepped and dodged with hairline distance and tripped the boy. The boy lost his balance and tumbled, at that time Naruto spinned and stood in his back and did a suplex on him. Seeing this move, everyone was surprised, no one saw any move like this. Trying to end the match Naruto entered his Whirlpool style taijutsu stance, everyone was looking at him weirdly. The boy then gritting his teeth, holding the pain stood up staggering.

Naruto then punched his upper abdomen, the boy then bent down coughing and spitting some bile. Naruto then used his same hand and strike him in his jaw with an upper cut with his elbow and then gave a spinning kick to his rib, throwing the kid out of the ring. Everyone stood there without blinking and their mouths gaping, everything happened very fast after the boy stood up. Mizuki was internally cursing. Naruto went to the terrified kid and did the seal

Naruto : Let's do it again some times, but next time let's go full power. It was fun. [Giving an evil innocent time]

Naruto : Sensei I won right. (Take that Mizuki teme)

Mizuki : Winner Uzumaki Naruto. [Gritting his teeth slightly]

Iruka then rushed in and checked the kid, he had two broken ribs and his jaw was dislocated. He then rushed and took the boy to the hospital. Naruto then went to where he was standing. Naruto spent the rest of his class peacefully, no one disturbed him the rest of the day. After class he was waiting for Hinata.

Liz : (You know I can help with your studies right?)

Naruto : (I know you can, the reason I asked her help is to bring her out of her shell, she has a lot of potential.)

Liz : (Whatever)

Hinata came out of the academy and saw Naruto waiting for her.

Hinata : (N-Na..ruto kun is waiting for me. It's like a boyfriend waiting for his girlfriend) [Entering dream world]

After seeing Hinata dazed off and just standing there, he went to her and flicked her head and told her to return to Earth. They both went to the abandoned training ground where Naruto left his clones for training. Reaching the ground Hinata could only see an empty ground. After checking his surrounding using his sensory abilities, whether they were followed or not and placed a hand on Hinata's shoulder to dispell the genjutsu. When Hinata felt Naruto's hand on her shoulder her heart started to race. He then dispelled the genjutsu and went ahead , after taking a few steps he noticed that Hinata seems to have passed out, he then realized that touching during dispelling genjutsu must have been overwhelming for her.

Naruto : Man I should really up her confidence. *sigh* Oi Hinata wake up.

Hinata : [Waking up with embarrassment] So-sorry Nar...uto kun.

Naruto : Don't worry. I'm gonna work on your confidence. Let's go.

Hinata was shocked to see an army of Naruto doing different things. She then turned to the Naruto on her side with confused look. Seeing her look Naruto smiled. He then started to explain his training method to her and assure her that she is not hearing things.

Naruto : Hinata this is an abandoned training ground, I set up a barrier with seals whenever I'm training. Even if someone enters all they see is an empty ground by a simple genjutsu. When I dispelled you out of genjutsu I placed a seal on you so you can have access inside barrier without being affected. Can you keep this place a secret, I don't want anyone to know about my training.

Hinata : D-Don't worry N-Naruto kun I'll keep it a secret.

Naruto : Okay then let's start.
