Chapter 21: Ramen Unbreakable
I bolt out of the inn and go to the new Mizukage who was Mei. She gave me my mist head band and my forum. My name was Menma Namikaze on the paper, atleast it isn't something painfully obvious. The place I was to meet my team members of the exam was at the entrance to the village.
At the entrance, I see Haku in an Anbu uniform with here usual mask but instead has blue instead of red with a boy that is looking at Haku with the same eyes of Yun Che and Jasmine. I smack my forehead with my hand and proceeded to walk towards them.
"Yo!"
"Hmph, quiet commoner! I am courting this fine beauty here!"
Haku glared at him and tried to open her mouth.
I size him up and he looks like your average genin.
"Could you shut up?" I asked.
"I don't care about your courting."
"You... You insignificant pest!" He tried to slash at me with a kunai but I caught the kunai and punched him in the gut.
"Your next line is: You are courting death!" I say jokingly.
"You are courting de-! What!" He widens his eyes. Gotem.
"Hey, stop! We need to go to the chunin exams, so lets go already!" I say, just remembering the reason I was here. Haku nods and we rush towards Konoha. The guy's name I forgot keeps trying to flirt with Haku while I put down Shadow clones that meditate and use Sage mode, I made about 10 for now.
Another thing I did was read all of my manuals. I couldn't have any Haki or Dying Will yet but I have learned how to unseal Kurama and theoretically, put him out onto the field like a summon.
"Hey, what are those weird orange things covering your ears?"
Haku asked.
"Oh, these are just for show."
I can't surprise her with otherworldly technology.
<Yo, random question but do you want to go to a world called Danmachi when you finish chunin exams?>
What the hell is a Dan-machi? Is that a food or a place? If so, who came up with such an idiotic name?

I am just... I am not angry, just disappointed.
When we finally arrived at Konoha, I remembered every SINGLE THING!
I look at Haku who looked at me worried and Sado looked like he had just seen Cuthulu.
"Sorry about that, just got bad memories." Sado is scarred for life while Haku justs nods.
We walk until we see an entrence with two guards.
"Hello, we are here for the Chunin exam." I said to the guard.
"Alright, what are your names?"
This time, Haku spoke.
"My name is Funo Momochi, this is Sado, and this is Menma Namikaze." She pointed to Sado then to me.
The guard looks at a piece of paper and nods.
"Alright, here are your temporary pass for the duration of the Chunin Exams. Go to XXXXXX to participate in 5 days."
We enter the 'new' village and it looks exactly the same. I see that many people are happier then when I was there.
I sigh and go to my favorite place, Ichiraku's. I run to get there and look at the stall with a watering mouth. I walk in too see Ayeme and Teuchi behind the counter.
"Hello, may I get 3 miso ramen with Naruto and seaweed?" I asked.
"Coming right up!" Teuchi said and prepared to cook ramen with his daughter. I smell the broth getting cooked and wait impatiently. After 3 grueling minutes, 3 bowls of ramen with toppings I asked for. I eat all of it and when I finished, I noticed Haku behind a tree watching me. I shrug and pay.
"Hey, are you here for the chunin exams?"
"Yep!"
"Y'know, you remind me of a certain yellow-haired kid and a red haired woman."
His eyes glitter with nostalgia. I look at him and ask something.
"Who is this yellow-haired kid?"
"Oh, he is a good kid. Everybody hates him because others hates him. It's just sheep following sheep. He is a bit energetic but otherwise, he is fun to be around. Though his smile, it contained a hint of anger at certain people, mainly directed at the ones that beat him. And I can't blame him, his life was like hell. People even drove him out of the village! Th-"
"That's it. That's all I wanted to know."
I walk out of the stall and look at Haku who looks at me while blushing.
"Hi, Menma! I just got her-"
"Poppycock."
At that moment I see Sasuke with Sakura with a new kid glaring at a red haired boy with a gourd on his back.
