Chapter 26: Isane’s wife?!?
After traveling for four days,the 19th division's representatives have finally arrived at the first division.
Upon arrival,Hozuki and Kuki were instantly taken aback by how grand the first division headquarters is.If the 19th division's headquarters was a small castle,the 1st division's headquarters would be a royal palace,that's how grand it was.
"Whoa!This place is massive,"Hozuki said as the gang tried to navigate to the arena, while Kuki inwardly thought to himself' they're filthy rich '.
"Hozuki, don't wander you'll get lost,just follow me obediently for once"Isane signed as Hozuki had wandered off by himself many times during missions.
"Urghhh,fine…"Hozuki said in an unwilling tone.
"Oh,Isane!"Suddenly a cheerful voice called out to Isane as he was talking to his team.
Isane turned back to see a woman with shoulder length pink hair in samurai armor.
"It's been a while Suzune"Isane said in a strangely bashful demeanor,Hozuki turned his head sideways in confusion as Kuki just giggled seeing Isane's out of character action.
"Cmon Isane,is that how you greet your wife?"The woman named Suzune said in a teasing tone.
After hearing Suzune's statement,Hozuki and Kuki simultaneously said in disbelief
"You're not single?!?!"
"HEY!!"Isane shouted in embarrassment as he bonked the heads of his two young samurai.
"Isane,your newcomers are silly "Suzune chuckled as he wiped a small tear from her eye and added "Besides, aren't one of them a bit too young?"
"Don't worry about it,Kuki here may be young but his strength is not to be looked down upon,and Hozuki over there is no push over either"Isane said with a matter of fact tone and then added.
"If you're not careful,these two might just steal first place from your team "Isane said confidently.
"Oh?Looks like this tournament won't be a cake walk like the ones before then"Suzune added.
"Captain,what did you mean when you said we'll steal first place from her team?"Hozuki asked curiously.
"Oh yeah!Let me introduce her" Isane said as if he'd just realized something important and added:
"This is my wife Suzune,she's the captain of the first division"Isane said as Suzune waved at the two dumbfounded samurais.
"As for why I said you'll steal first place from her team,the first division is on a 8 times winning streak because the first division is full of elites and geniuses and their training regime is very strict so even you guys will have a tough time against this year's team"Isane explained in one breath.
After Isane finished,two young samurai's approached them and stood besides Suzune,they were the representatives of the first division,a girl about 10 years old with yellowish shoulder length brown hair and a girl not much older than Kuki at about 9 years old with light blue hair tied into a ponytail,purple eyes and sharp shark like teeth.
"Captain, is this the husband that you keep talking about?"Noticing the similarities between the man standing in front of her and the husband her captain described,the blue-haired girl asked.
"Yup Mizu,It's him "Suzune said as she nodded.
"Let me introduce you to our division's representatives "Suzune said enthusiastically.
"This is Mizugetsu Hozuki,she's 9 and she's the representative of the first division in this tournament"Suzune said boastfully while pointing at the bowing Mizu.
"And this is her teammate,Hori Unemi,she's 10 this year "Suzune added.
Seeing that their doing introductions,Hozuki actively stepped up and announced:
"Hehe I'm Hozuki Uzumaki,I'm 14 this year and I'm a proud samurai of the 19th division"
Witnessing Hozuki's antics ,Kuki signed helplessly before introducing him in a composed demeanor:
"I'm Kuki Uragiru,I'm 8 and I'm the representative of the 19th division"
'He's only eight!!'The three samurais from the 1st division widened their eyes as they expected Kuki,who is significantly taller than kids his age, to be at least 9.
"An eight year old samurai....You really picked up a genius this time huh Isane?"Isane's wife signed as she was slightly envious of her hubby.
