Chapter 35: Chapter 32
"Where did you get this?" It was Fugaku that asked him the million Ryo question
"Fugaku-sama! To explain to you how i got this letter, i will have to go back to the beginning, and i dont think we have much time, perhaps you could put your trust in m-" Usagi was cut short by Orochimaru who retorted
"Usagi-kun, although we both are happy that you have come to us with such a crucial piece of info, we cant do anything to help you if things go south...if you dont tell us"
With that, Usagi narrated the well thought out story in front of them, at first he activated the lightning chakra mode, shocking the two of them, then he narrated how he got the jutsu and how he came into contact with the spies.
Although Orochimaru and Fugaku were a little doubtful about his story, but they needed to act quickly,
"Usagi-kun! Your contribution to the leaf wont go unheard...i shall relay your story to the Hokage,meanwhile i hope that you understand that we will have to keep you in lockup until then" Fugaku stated
"This....fine" he said as with a snap of Orochimaru's fingers, two jonins entered the tent and motioned for Usagi to follow them

Sitting in the small tent guarded by three jonin and several chunin,Usagi hoped that the snake sage doesnt use the techniques of the Yamanaka clan on him.
Although he read in his previous life that these systems come with their own self defense against arts like this, he didnt want to bet anything on what he read in some novel.
'Although things have derailed a bit from the original plan, i am still somewhat safe, as long as the third deems that i am not a threat, i will be safe.

Meanwhile somewhere in Konoha, Sarutobi Hiruzen stood on the balcony of his office, gazing at the Stone Faces of the past Hokage, his face had grown several wrinkles as he was deep in thought
Soon a jonin came , Hiruzen adopted his serious attitude as he read the scroll, then a smile spread across his face.
"Take this to Orochimaru, have him teach the kid in his free time" Hiruzen handed a scroll, the jonin in question took it and shunshined away.
'So he isnt a student of Jiraiya, nor is he a spy, but he is a promising kid, lets see what he can accomplish in the war' Hiruzen thought.
He had recieved the news from Jiraiya that he currently had no such kid under his wings much less someone who knew the secret technique of the Cloud village
'I hope i am not wrong in placing my bets on you...Usagi'

"Wake up! The commander is asking for you kid" A jonin woke up Usagi who had drool dripping from his mouth
Usagi groggily woke up and stretched his body, he had been in confinement for a whole day
Seeing that he was about to be set free, he was beyond happy
Following behind the jonin, he soon arrived at Orochimaru's location.
"Usagi-kun! Its good to see you"
"The hokage-sama has decided to let you go based on the evidence you have provided so far, and judging from your overall strength, we have decided to give you the position of a special jonin" Orochimaru stated as he handed Usagi another,which had his new rank on it.
"Thank you,Orochimaru-sama"
"Haha! The pleasure is all mine, i have a small request if you dont mind" Orochimaru asked as he stood in front of Usagi.
Usagi felt some unease knowing how twisted the sage was but held on
"How can i be of service,Orochimaru-sama" he asked respectfully
"Haha! No need to be so formal, you can just call me senpai or Orochimaru,whatever you like" Orochimaru smiled.
Causing Usagi to feel further anxiety
'What is this bastard upto?' He thought
"As for the request, I would like to learn the methods of the chakra mode from you, though i wont let you go empty handed" Orochimaru said as he pulled out a scroll from his table.
"This scroll contains my own insights into several Rank B and A ninjutsu as well as a million Ryo" he smiled.
Usagi who was previously apprehensive took a one eighty degree turn of attitude
"Haha! Senpai! You didnt have to do that" he said as he shamelessly reached for the scroll before quickly pocketing it.
Orochimaru who saw this behavior felt that the student wasnt much different from the master.
'Though one is a genius and the other is an idiot,haha!' Orochimaru laughed in his head as he looked at Usagi.
"Orochimaru-senapi, i shall write down the lightning chakra mode technqiue and give it to you" Usagi stated
As for the technqiues falling into wrong hands and whatnot, Usagi scoffed, the lightning chakra mode wasnt a cake walk. The only reason he made such steady progress was because the system gave him the technique.
Besides, most people wouldnt have the patience to practice it to its full potential.If mastering or even using the technique was so easy, The Hidden Cloud would have surpassed the Leaf Village by now.
Usagi put these thoughts to the back of his mind as he started making a ninjutsu scroll,making sure to make the technique extremely hard to grasp
Further adding to the difficulty of the nintaijutsu
'I wonder if Danzo will be involved in all of this' Usagi thought as he drew a rough diagram of the body, putting some errors here and there.
After an hour of work, he was finally done with the scroll, with a skip in his step, he went into the commanders tent, handing over the scroll to Orochimaru who smiled and took it.
"Alright,Usagi-kun, since you are now an indispensible part of the army with your unique lightning ninjutsu, we have a mission for you, are you willing?" Orochimaru asked.
Usagi who was suddenly put on the spot was speechless, were they planning to kill him in action
"Relax! The mission isnt going to be that hard, you see, some of our scouts have managed to located supplies of the Rock ninja....."
Usagi left the tent with various emotions present on his face,
Arriving in his own tent,he quickly pulled out the storage scroll, going through the ninjutsu he acquired, along with those he got from the spies.
