Chapter 22: Chapter 22: Meeting the 1st and 2nd

"More food, please!" Beel was currently sitting in at a dining table with a ton of empty dishes around him and more food on the way. "I gotta say, you guys sure know how to treat newly discovered members." He had been taken to the main household of the Yenders family to meet the current head, but he was out at the moment, so they decided to try to feed the boy. Little did they know just how much this kid could fit in his stomach. While he was eating a small group of people of various age groups had hiding outside of the dining hall, watching him from afar. "How could someone like that have our ancestor's bloodline?" A teenage girl said in a whisper.

"I know, right and how could have a blood purity of 99% with that ancestor's bloodline. This just doesn't make any sense; I mean he's so filthy." An older woman stated in reply. "His hair is so dirty that I can't even tell if it's actually purple." A teenage boy stated. They all just stood there trying to find anything that could make them believe that he was actually kin to them. "Excuse me, could I ask you all as to why you are crowding the entrance to the dining room." A voice called out loud enough that everyone, including Beel, could hear it.

Everyone turned to see to young men standing behind them and immediately moved to let them through. Beel watched as these two young men walked into the room but did not stop eating. "Whbo abere yhbu?" The men stopped and looked at the boy sitting at the dining table that at called out to them with a mouthful of food. The younger of the two men looked at Beel with a quizzing look and said," I'm sorry, what did you say? We couldn't understand on account of your mouth being filled with food." Beel raised up a hand as if telling them," Hold on" and swallowed all of the food in his mouth and let out a satisfied sigh before answering.

"I said who are you? You must be pretty important if all those people that were watching me suddenly cleared a path for you." The crowd at the entrance of the dining hall froze because they had seen no sign that the boy had known they were there, and they weren't making themselves obvious either. "I could ask you the same question boy. For we have lived here for our entire lives and never ran into you before this very moment. So, it would only be right if you were to introduce yourself first." The older man was the one that spoke this time as he looked at this curious boy that was covered in dirt. Beel stood up from the table and cleared his throat before speaking. "I'm Beel Greynold Yenders, as of today. That cool? Now tell me your names." The two men looked at each other and gave a slight shrug as the younger one once again spoke up.

"My name is Lenton Yenders and this is my older brother Ze'al Yenders. We are the two eldest sons of the main household of the Yenders family. You must be one of the contract children from this year. I didn't think that we had any this year, so this is quite the intriguing surprise."  Beel nodded as he felt things start to make sense for him until he realized what was just said to him. "What do you mean contract children? You mean this happens often?" Lenton let out a small chuckle at Beel's sudden burst of surprise. "No not often but it has occasionally happened in these recent years. Don't worry you're the only one this year." Lenton kept laughing for a few seconds until he managed to calm himself down.

"If you're eating, then I can only assume that you've met with the family head." Ze'al speculated to Beel only to be shocked to watch him shake his head. "When I got here, they told me that he wasn't here so they told me that they would feed and clean me while waiting for him to show up." The two eldest sons had very confused looks on their faces. "If father isn't here then I guess we will also have to wait for his return. Why would he be gone though? This is really weird, isn't it Z?" Lenton turned to his brother as he posed the question and got a simple nod as a response. "Ooh, I have a fun idea you two. Since me and Z just returned and Beel has to get cleaned up why don't we all go do so together. I mean someone will have to help Beel get all of the dirt and blood off of him."

Beel looked at the two people standing in front of him specifically making eye contact with Ze'al and asking," Is he always like this?" as he pointed at Lenton. Ze'al let out a sigh and rubbed his eyes as he responded, "I'm afraid so." Lenton grabbed both Ze'al and Beel and moved them towards the bath.

...

"Wow so you really are related to us. I couldn't tell with all of the dirt on your clothes and in your hair."  Ze'al and Lenton had to work together to get all of the thick layers of grime off of Beel and it still took them 30 minutes to get it all off. Now that it was all off, they got to see Beel's natural vibrant purple hair and his strangely pale skin. All being said though, he was still quite good looking for a boy that grew up on the streets. "Honestly, you look like a different person right now. If we hadn't been the ones to clean you, then I'm pretty sure that we wouldn't even recognize you." Lenton was looking at Beel's face closely as if he was staring at some rare creature until Ze'al pulled him away.

The three of them left the bath and went to put on the clothes that servants had left out for them. Beel picked up his clothes and stared at them for a second before putting them on. The clothes had a shirt, a pair of pants, a pair of undergarments, and a cloak with a hood. They were all mostly black with purple marking on them except for the cloak that was fully black. 'I can't remember the last time that I wore clean clothes. In fact, I don't think that I've ever worn clean clothes.'

Beel put on the clothes and realized that they fit him quite well despite him not knowing his own size. "Those clothes look quite good on you Beel. I knew black would fit you best!" Lenton smiled at Beel and that was when Beel realized that his clothes were similar to the other two in a lot of ways, but the biggest difference was that they didn't have cloaks. Lenton had an all-black suit except for the purple sleeves covered by a purple shawl and Ze'al had on tight-fitting black t-shirt with black and purple bracers on his arms with a cape that was purple on the inside and black on the outside.

There was a light knock on the door and a voice that followed. "Young masters, the master has returned and has requested for all three of you to visit his office at your earliest convenience."  Lenton opened the door and replied, "Thanks for telling us, Patty." The maid outside of the door did a light bow and walked away to continue her duties. Lenton turned back into the bathroom and smiled at the other two and said, "Now, let's go see what our dear father wants from us." Beel and Ze'al nodded and the three proceeded toward the Head's office.
