/ Eastern / Mysteries of Immortal Puppet Master
Synopsis
[The latest masterpiece by the author of Reverend Insanity]
In the heart of a volcano, the mechanical fairy palace left by the ancients longed for a successor.
The mother sacrificed her life to obtain the treasure seal of the fairy palace, entrusting it to Ning Zhuo on her deathbed.
Buddha Heart Demon Seal!
To deliver oneself to enlightenment, and others to demonhood.
The bearer of the seal, by lightly engraving the Heart Demon Seal, could control mechanisms as if they were feathers. While others wielded it, exhausted in spirit and heavy in mind; Ning Zhuo could command it with ease, light and graceful as in a dance.
Ning Zhuo said, "Mother, your child will surely fulfill your trust and claim that fairy palace!"
Indeed:
The chance encounter with a spirited secret, where skill merges with supreme logic.
Universes open to new realms, where natural beauty rivals the heavens.
Ancient bells transmit the law, dancing under the moon's pure radiance.
With the true form embodying myriad things, who in the world could contend!

Write a reviewInteresting story, but so far the mc is way too focused on sabotaging other people instead of focusing on himself and his skills and trying to better that. At first it was understandable but it got boring quick.
I don’t understand—I fell in love with Reverend Insanity because of its fresh outlook on life, its unique and intricate power system, and the beautifully crafted world it brought to life. It felt alive, full of soul and depth, like every detail had meaning and purpose. The story had this magical quality, like a mystical spell that kept my eyes unblinking, completely captivated by the brilliance of its power explanations and the way everything tied together. But this new book feels different, as if the focus has shifted to making money rather than creating something truly impactful. Where is the soul that once drew me in? It was there before, so vivid and undeniable. Now, it feels like nothing more than meaningless conflicts—petty squabbles that add little depth, like threads pulling at each other without cohesion or purpose. Still, I can’t bring myself to blame the author—it’s not entirely their fault. Perhaps the circumstances have changed, or external pressures have forced this direction. Regardless, I can’t help but feel an overwhelming sense of loss for what it once was—a masterpiece that felt like it came from the heart.
The struggles, schemes, desperation, determination. Giving it your all but still falling short. This is how I like my weak-to-strong novels. Currently my most anticipated daily read. And rarely any dull chapter over the past chapters. Definitely recommend it!
Starts a little slow but once it gets going it’s really really good. Worth reading for sure. Translation can be a little rough in some chapters but it seemed less frequent as the chapters progressed (but maybe I just didn’t notice since the story picked up by then).
What can I even say? Another great novel from our beloved author Gu Zhenren! I cannot wait to see where this story goes and will be happy to read on.
This is my favorite author. And he never disappoints, this story is amazing. I'll warn you it's quite different from Reverend Insanity, but it's still a peak quality novel. The protagonist is extremely charismatic and his personality is quite interesting. He is the perfect example of being cruel and ruthless to his enemies and kind to his allies. The development of the story is quite fluid, with political intrigues, conspiracies and exciting fights. The power system is sophisticated and interesting, especially the path the protagonist is taking... His power is really cool. I just loved it! Keep up the good work author.
Letss goooooooo! New story from our favorite author
