Lyla pushed him back, angrily wiping her tears away. "Leave me alone! What kind of man are you doing this while I tried to kill you?!"

Tristan looked confused, but managed to hold back a smile.

"That's right, you tried to kill me, didn't you?" He said sarcastically, though the smirk quickly disappeared when he saw the hurt expression on her face.
