Chapter 20: The Third Follower - Fairy

[Ding Dong, congratulations to the host for acquiring the third follower – the fairy.]

Fairy Ability: Magic Affinity – greatly enhances the growth and understanding of magic-related aspects.

[Due to your involvement in the Beast of Apocalypse and the Beast of Savior during your birth, the fairy named Vivian has been assimilated by you.]

[You have obtained the third follower – the fairy.]

"Vivian? This is... Avalon?"

Looking at the obsessed look of the girl in his arms, Elric knew that this was because the other party became his follower.

But looking at the prompt of the simulator, he found that the girl of the fairy race was actually Vivian. Thinking of the strangeness of the world he was currently in, the only possibility Elric could think of was the Inner Sea of Avalon.

"Yes, Master, this is Avalon."

Walking down from Elric's arms, Vivian leaned on Elric's shoulder and nodded slightly.

"This is the Inner Sea of Stars, my master, and I... am your most loyal follower."

As a fairy, Vivian has an amazing face.

Slender, pointed ears, silver-like bright hair, and a lovable and delicate body. Although slender, it is not lacking in feminine charm.

Looking at Elric, the gorgeous rose-red eyes gradually had a charming beauty.

As if she walked out of the painting, the girl who could be in a fairyland just by looking at each other looked at Elric like this.

Well, she was not wearing clothes.

After all, the clothes on her body had long been swallowed by the impact of the birth of the Beast of Apocalypse and the Beast of Savior. If Vivian had not been developed into a follower by the Heavenly Dao, she herself would probably have become the nourishment for the birth of Elric.

But compared to this, the pair of thin wings behind her made Elric more concerned.

Flower Fairy!

Because she was his own family, Elric suddenly remembered the specific information of Vivian's race.

As a fairy that once caused controversy and scramble among various fantasy races because of its beauty, the flower fairy is a very rare race.

The spirit born from the grass and trees is the beautiful prototype of the god of nature.

Although they are considered to be close relatives of elves because of their ears, the difference between fairies and elves is that they are more gifted in magic, but at the same time they are more... servile!

In ancient times, mystery was abundant on the earth, and various fantasy races also stood by.

Compared with those powerful races, they are obviously much weaker. Flower fairies are a kind of currency to some extent, a kind of existence that is regarded as powerful, precious, and rare.

Conquered by the strong, and then have an absolute sense of obedience. Although after so many years, this kind of performance of flower fairies no longer appears in today's era, the memory once engraved in the genes cannot be changed.

With the power of the contract of the heavenly patron, Vivian had an incomparable love for this god whom she met for the first time.

Or... an incomparable sense of following.

She only wanted to follow Elric, to see his figure, and in doing so, completely lost her sense of self. Gazing at the god seated on the throne, she felt an unprecedented sense of satisfaction.

Her beautiful face glowed with a faint, joyful smile. At this moment, Vivian realized that her previous years had been lived in vain.

As expected, as a flower fairy, she needed to find a master—a master to whom she could dedicate her soul, her life, and the very meaning of her existence.

---

[Through Vivian's existence, you are certain you have indeed arrived in the Type-Moon world, in Camelot—the era of King Arthur.]

[On the British Isles, where the mysteries of the world are beginning to fade, natural and man-made disasters have come to dominate the land.]

[This era of rising heroes and relentless chaos is much like the Three Kingdoms of Kyushu, a time when countless legends are forged.]

[As the strongest force in this land, the king named Uther Pendragon reigns over Camelot, the Holy City of the Cretaceous.]

[In opposition to him stands another mighty king—Vortigern, Uther's brother—who commands the border city of Londinium.]

[Beyond these two dominant powers, there are countless factions, as heroes clash in an endless cycle of conflict. This is a land of chaos and turmoil, but also a place of dreams and legend.]

[And now, you find yourself at the point in time where King Uther's reign begins its decline.]

---

"Master, I haven't asked for your name yet," Vivian said, her voice soft as she spoke to Elric after explaining the current state of Britain.

As Elric's dependent, she had known from the moment their contract was sealed that her master was no ordinary being. He was not merely one of the gods who roamed the Type-Moon world; he was far beyond them, surpassing even the pinnacles of human evil.

Her body and mind, bound by her nature as a flower fairy, began to revolve entirely around Elric. Serving him, making him happy, and worshiping him gave her a joy that was akin to ascending to heaven itself.

"My name... my name is..."

Elric intended to introduce himself as Elric, but in that instant, the memories of his simulated life in the Roman Empire flooded his mind. He understood that his actions could alter history and shape the records of future generations.

After a brief pause, he smiled at Vivian, a smile that sent shivers through the flower fairy's entire being.

"Reinhard," he said at last. "Vivian, my name is Reinhard."

"Born of the land of Britain, from this moment forward, I am the destined ruler of this world."

"Reinhard Pendragon. That is my name."

---

At the heart of the inner sea of the stars, as Elric—now Reinhard—spoke, the very fabric of Britain began to stir.

Magical fluctuations surged across the land. The clouds churned, the air twisted, and all of creation seemed to sing in unison. Every voice, every element praised the arrival of the new king of this era.

He had descended upon this world.

Author's Note:

Although Type moon and Vivian are technically one entity in the Lostbelt, I genuinely struggle to write the concept of Type Moon's trinity.

Also, since I'm uncertain about some of the specifics in the Lostbelt's lore, I've chosen to separate them for now. Vivian remains Vivian, and Morgan is distinct as her own character. These are two completely separate individuals.

I'll address the merging of their identities when I delve into the Lostbelt arc in the future.
