Chapter 40: Unnamed

The car came to a halt slowly and soon after, the door was pulled open for me to step out by Casine. "Thank you." I mouthed as I looked up at the large building before me. At the very top, I could see a very familiar logo and I looked back down.

"Everyone is waiting for your arrival in the conference room." Caine informed me and I nodded before walking into the building. I haven't come here since the day I was crowned the heiress and my parents died just after I left with James.

The hurting part was they demanded that I shouldn't be called to the burial if they ever died and I was still with James. I looked out at the city as the glass elevator took me up to the top floor where the meeting was being held.

Caine was standing behind me and I could tell he was looking at me and had something to say but was unsure whether to say it or not. "Do you have something to say or not?" I asked him and I heard him sigh before speaking up.
