Chapter 54: Let it go

 "Get some rest upstairs Uma. I'll come over with some food." Eva pat her hair lovingly before looking at Ralph. "Take her up."

Ralph put his hand under her knees and on her back, lifting her, before he walked towards the stairs. He stopped in his tracks when he heard Eva call for him. "Don't open the windows. The cooler will make the room cool if you want."

"Okay." He said before taking Uma to her room. The room wasn't big, neither was it too small. It was blue and gold like Uma liked it. Her bed was large enough to accommodate two people and two sofas sat in the room. The glass doors leading to the balcony were locked and there was another door next to the entrance door which was the bathroom.
