Chapter 236: Our family
"What did he say?" Lauren questions getting curious while Jamie just remains silent, "What did he say? Did he agree on having you back to work?" Lauren questions once more pressurizing Jamie to speak up. Jamie sighs as she looks up meeting Lauren's curious gaze.
"He said he would consider…" Jamie sighs once again before lying back on the bed, "I see… why they even had that guy at work?" Lauren grumbles complaining as she slumps down beside Jamie. "I wonder- wait!" Jamie yells all of a sudden jolting up sitting straight on her back with her legs across each other.
Lauren flinches at Jamie's sudden yell and change in position, "What happened?" Lauren questions feeling forced to sit straight like Jamie was because she felt like observing Jamie's expression to read through her sudden commotion.
"I know what to say to him." Jamie says smirking widely, Lauren frown, "And what is that about?"
